After several years spent in France and abroad working in the hotel and restaurant industries, we are delighted to share with you the real crush that we had for this former family cafe-inn nestling in the pretty spa resort of Saujon. Here we welcome you as your friends. You can count on us to reveal some of our best "secret addresses" to you. Concerned about your comfort, Le Richelieu has been completely renovated in recent years in the two elegant stone buildings with authentic charm that house our hotel. Today, we are proud and happy to provide you with: 17 pretty rooms, a bar, a terrace open onto a landscaped garden. Reviewed By bibisimonWe had an excellent stay in this lovely hotel. The hosts are very helpful and attentive. Rooms are very clean and there is everything you need. Royan is worth a visit with its beautiful beach and houses. A good reason to go back soon.

Excellent hotel and service
Reviewed By digbyl177Having stayed in many hotels over the years I have to say the service here was amazing. Sylvie and her team did a great job of looking after us and were so helpful in sorting things out for us when we couldn't get a taxi. The hotel for 2* is lovey, having been tastefully and sympathetically renovated. Our room was, large and airy with a comfy bed and great shower. The parking is secure and has easy access. Behind the hotel is a nice patio area where guests can sit and have a drink. There are ground floor rooms for the less able and the hotel is located close to the thermal baths in the centre of town. The restaurant menu looked varied and good value though we didn't get an opportunity to try, but will next time we visit.

Reviewed By posmond1950Our preferred Hotel in Saujon, Food excellent (cooked by the owner) Room good , Hotel a great base to tour the region. With Great beaches just 20 minutes away (Le Grande Cote') and Royan only 10 minutes south.
