Excellent clean accommodation
Reviewed By AMANDA WBooked here last minute as we had to stay in Spain for an additional 2 nights. Owners met us on arrival & assisted us to park the car in their private area. Whilst they spoke little English, they produced a laptop to translate everything. The room was very large, extremely clean, a huge balcony terrace & very central. Only thing lacking was a kettle so we had to boil water in a pan & there was no oven only a microwave but this wasn't an issue with only 2 nights. The entire building was immaculately clean & smelled lovely, the gardens well kept with a small private pool. When leaving, the owners arranged a taxi for us & all came down to say goodbye & wave us off.

Lovely clean, comfortable, spacious rooms, and great staff who ensure that your stay is memorable for all the right reasons. Amazing quality of food in the restaurant accompanied by some really good and reasonable wines. We will certainly be returning.

It’s only a fifteen minute drive out of the nearest town (along a scenic but very rustic road up through the forest) yet is completely secluded and tranquil. David was a superb host, changing our room to the one with the best terrace views. He cooked a fantastic and very reasonably priced supper for us despite us making a last minute booking and arriving a little later than planned. We only stayed one night as had to move on the next day but would have loved to be there longer. The bedroom had everything we needed and was clean with a comfortable bed and decent shower. Breakfast was delicious with masses of local produce and homemade marmalade and jam. We will certainly stay again if we get the opportunity.

Rural house Can Miquel, located in Santa Coloma de Farners (Girona) is an eighteenth century farmhouse restored according to the original touch of their owners. The rooms have private bathroom, TV and free WiFi. The property has terrace, chill-out area, pool with sunbeds, relax area, swing, ping pong and soccer goals . The house offers fully home but only under pre-booked dinner. Rural house Can Miquel allows enjoy many hiking trails , horseback riding, bike rentals and excursions to charming villages.

Reviewed By TLG12345Can Miquel is an excellent spot for a very relaxed and chilled out holiday. It has 6 great bedrooms which can be configured to suit any party and has enough varied spaces to suit every occasion (bar/pool area with shade/shaded outdoor eating area/large dining room and great sitting room). The kitchen is large and well equipped to handle big parties. Located within a 5 min car journey from the pleasant amenities of St. Coloma de Farners (it has everything you'll need), 30 min to the beaches of Costa Brava and only 25 min from Girona Airport, Can Miquel is a perfect, quiet and peaceful location for exploring the region. The owners, Valeria and Ismael, are wonderful. They could not have done more to ensure that our stay was as stress free and relaxed as possible. They are fantastic hosts and will ensure that all your needs are met! No matter how big or small your party, if you are looking for a perfect place to chill with friends or family this is the place for you!

The location is perfect for the city center and for the roads to other cities. We order room service and it was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Au restaurant, cuisine régionale avec les incontournables et délicieux botifares. Le patron et l’équipe qu’il mène sont extrêmement accueillants, sans hypocrisie. Une très bonne soirée.

Good enough for a short stay
Reviewed By VDelia96The location was good, free parking available relatively close to the hotel. The room had basic amnieties, clean but not as nice as in the picture. The staff speaks little English, the Wi-Fi didn't really work in the room, much better at the ground floor though. We had dinner but it was the worst food I ever had in Spain, my friend had better experience with her choice. Don't order mixed vegetables, no condiments at all, just some boiled vegetables. The meet for the main course was very hard to chew. If you want to eat, I recommend Mas Sola Hotel Restaurant, that is situated at the city limits.

Rustic, calm, cheap and clean
Reviewed By Darag151The first second you enter the place, you can see that it's been stuck 50 years ago. But the lady is really nice, the place is clean. The confort is clearly basic, ok if you're not that picky. The situation in the village is really good. If you're there is a lovely band playing classic music when people from the town are dancing.
