Hey Bear is a capsule hotel that provides fantastic lodging. As we live in a time when backpacking has become a worldwide trend, accommodations are outgrowing their traditional worth: not only does this capsule hotel provide a base for exploration leading to new discoveries, in and of itself it is a novelty in which simplicity delivers the punch of creativity.
This capsule hotel is antisocial. This is not a backpacker place. Staff are not friendly, and they place no investment into the guest experience. Avoid this place if you want a social backpacker hostel. That said, facilities are sometimes clean. Towels are not free, but showers had shampoo and body wash dispensers. Security is poor. Only certain rooms have lockable lockers. All capsules can easily be forced open. There are no tables or chairs in rooms. There is no place to hang a bath towel. Windows looking outside are filthy. Elevators are slow. The common area is OK, but more like a shared workspace rather than a communal place. Location is more genuine than touristy. The MRT is just across the road. There are many places to dine nearby, and the daily night market is average in both diversity and ambiance. Overall, it's a crappy experience to stay here. Find somewhere friendlier, somewhere better.

Pavilion Boutique Hotel is equipped with 67 rooms and is a great choice for travelers interested in city trips, local food and night markets. From Pavilion Boutique Hotel,Taipei Confucius Temple is 2.3 km,Sanho Night Market is 1.1km,Shilin Night Market is 3.4 km and Taipei Bus Station is 3.5 km from the property. Taipei Songshan Airport is 6 km away.
Reasonably priced, convenient, and clean. The room was tiny and compact but very modern and comfortable. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Sanchong Elementary School MRT station and it is super convenient to get into the city from this station. Keep in mind that the hotel is not in central / downtown Taipei. The neighborhood is very old and suburban and there is nothing much to do around there. If you are looking for a more lively area, I would suggest staying in Ximen or Zhongshan. I picked this hotel for an overnight stay as I landed in Taipei late at night after the MRT had stopped operating and this property is a convenient 25 minute taxi ride from the airport. The breakfast was shocking. The fruit “platter” consisted of 4 small pieces of pineapple. The rest of the breakfast offerings were very limited and barely edible. I had to stop by a bakery outside to eat breakfast again. This is a fine hotel for a short stay but I would not recommend staying here for an extended period of time.

This was arranged by the tour agency that we liaised with. We all deemed it a motel instead of a hotel. It is located at a corner of 2 meeting streets/roads. The roads were busy with cars & bikes so our vehicle couldn’t make an unhurried stop to alight us. We arrived at a row of shops. We carried our own luggage into the reception. The place was dark. The location wasn’t a good one for our group as we had to go a few places from here, not ideally central. Jams along the way were bad, we could have avoided them if we stayed elsewhere. A lot of time wasted on the roads. We had an efficient check-in though. One of the staff was new so she was not sure when we asked about laundry service. We were then told they would outsource. The price was still reasonable. She didn’t know if our parcels from Taichung & Tainan had arrived. We had to double-check a few times but out of the corner of our eyes, the parcels were already there, at the back of the reception desk. Our rooms were also dark. Curtains were dusty. Carpets had smell. The bathroom was presentable at least. I asked for a room that could accommodate 3 pax. The room came with combining 2 super-single beds together, leaving a gap in the middle. We weren’t used to it. The bedsheets had stains. The room had no heater. Our group didn’t stay on the same floor. Corridors were dark & had cigarette smell, though there were filters at certain corners. My relatives felt a little insecure. Breakfast was plain simple. Fortunately they had cornflakes (just one type) for my boy. He was contented. As for the adults, we were flexible. The fried noodles was okay. There was only 1 lady staff in the cafe. We wanted to ask her to fry the omelette but she was no where to be found. When she appeared, she was pretty grouchy-looking so we dropped the idea. Besides, the ventilation of this low-ceiling place was pretty bad...once there was frying done in front of us...the smell penetrated our hair & clothes for a long time. We didn’t ask for house-keeping but they did it. We became a little uneasy. We used the hotels transport to send us to the airport. The transport fees was reasonably. Good to mention...there is this shop that sells bags & luggage at wholesale price. This came in just nice when my relatives had a broken luggage handle & wheels. We all bought quite a fair bit of stuffs from them. Go check-it out if you are around there, it isn’t a department store, it does look like a wholesale store. We do not think we will return to stay here.

不得不說江月villa行館是我住過最讚的房間, 因為它不止是房間, 它還是可以讓我家姐姐妹妹高歌一整晚的歡樂視廳室的空間, 你說我們怎麼會不愛這樣棒棒的房間呢!

My husband and I needed a place to stay while he studies Mandarin in Taipei for a month or so, because we don't want to stay with family and friends and interrupt their routine. After much research, we decided to give Sparkle Taipei Bridge a shot, and we're glad we did. We stayed for three weeks, and experienced four different rooms. Let me share some pros and cons as well as advice. Pros: Excellent service. The staff are courteous and professional. They are efficient and will do everything within their power to make sure your stay is comfortable. Since we stayed for a while, we did encounter some challenges (one of the toilets blocked up, noisy neighbor one night, some other tenants nearby smoking even though it's illegal...) but each time the staff took care of those issues immediately. They check in on us whenever they saw us. Daily housekeeping is thorough and the rooms are super clean! One of the most important requirements for me is cleanliness and this place is extremely clean. Other than two mosquitoes, I did not encounter any little animals in our room, and that's a huge deal for me. AC is super cold in the heat of July! Huge showers if you get a room bigger than the cheapest window less room. Water pressure is awesome with good temperature. They have the really cool oversized shower head with multiple jets as well as a separate hand held sprayer. Wifi has good speed! Location is good. It's about six minutes from the neares MRT subway station with the majority of the walk covered from rain and sun. A movie theater is two minutes walk away, as well as a real super market. Plenty of street food around so you should never starve. A coin laundromat is across the street and the machines are great! In the evening and late nights there are security guards downstairs. Two free bottles of water a day, and the room has a hot water kettle. The common areas also has a hot and cold water dispenser. Cons: The area of town is not very fancy, so expect a little culture shock. You might see some more poor people in this area than downtown. Even though the rooms are clean, there's room for improvement. Such as there could be better humidity control so that the walls and ceilings have fewer moldy spots (but it's Taiwan... hard to avoid moisture unless you pay for a five star hotel). Don't get the cheapest room if you want any natural light because the window in the room leads to a dark shaft between the buildings and should not be opened. Showering will likely get the whole bathroom floor wet but that's common in Taiwan as well since a separate shower is a western concept. The bedding are soft and comfy but I could feel the springs in the mattresses. If you get a big bed, you will feel a hard ridge down the middle (cuddling with my husband was not comfortable). Advice? Get a room farther away from the lobby if you like a quieter room and don't like cigarette smoke. Conclusion: five star service, four star location, and three star hardware. We're glad we stayed here. It's very good value for your money.

This Branch is conveniently located at the business trade circle of the Sanchong District, New Taipei, Taiwan, along the main route for commuting between Taipei and the localities of Xinzhuang, Luzhou and Sanchong of New Taipei. It is just minutes away from Metropolitan Taipei and in proximity of the Taipei Bridge Station of the Taipei Rapid Transit Yellow Line (Zhonghe and Xinlu Line) and the Sanchong Junction. There are several bus routes with stops right in front of the hotel that make traveling to the Shilin night market, the Grand Hotel, the Taipei Municipal Government, Ximen Square, and Taipei 101 easy by bus or by rapid transit train. Facilities for entertaining and sightseeing spots are in the vicinity. The busy and vivid Sanhe night market is within walking distance, it offers you a wide array of exotic snacks. This hotel is absolutely your first choice for lodgings. The interior decoration of the hotel is lively and refined, it gives an air of the 1970s. You can completely relax inside. The space inside is subtly arranged and each room features a specific theme, such as stationary room, princess room, star light room, and LEGO room. You will be caught by surprise once you are inside. We ask for your support and applause whole-heartedly, whether you spend the night with us for business or for pleasure. RF Hotel Grade 6 Class 2 Store (Sanchong Zhengyi Branch) is your choice second to none. You are invited to our place to explore Taipei in its entirety and to make unforgettable memories.
This hotel is really centrally located in Taipei, on a island just a 20 minutes underground/taxi ride to most of the common places in Taipei such as the temple and the 101 building. I checked in during the night and the staff was really helpful and friendly, and I have been assigned as a solo traveler a double bed in a relatively standard room. Though what is not standard is that every room is styled in a theme, reminding you about your child memories. For e.g. I stayed in a football room, where my bed was like a football field, and above me the 'sky' was all blue with white clouds! Its super beautiful and really, as I was so far from home, what I needed. The bathroom comes equipped with some toiletries such as shampoo, soap and many towels. I would say this establishment cares about their guests as I was also waked up at 20 minutes before checking out time to remind me to take a shower by the phone. I had a good stay for the 50 USD/night.

The room is dirty, dust everywhere, dust on side table with hair, dust on dryer, etc, mold on bathroom tiles, shower glass silicone. Doesn't worth what you pay. Its not what you expect as what you have seen from their photos. If you're on vacay better stay somewhere else. The door lock has issue(cant lock even when you lock it) however, the staff was helpful and ok to change the room for us. So, this 2 point is for helpful staff only.

Unfortunately I can give this hotel 3 stars. Aircon was no good room stayed warm. Late check-in is annoying but they did let me check in an hour early. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is good but not that good. Location is ok if you don't mind a bus to the main city which is very easy once i got shown what to do. Internet is wiick. Basin had a leak in the bathroom and shower/bathtub abit of a strange design but I did enjoy a couple of hot baths. Free coffee and kettle was useful. Tv not enough English channels only acouple. 12 minute walk from train station walking steady. Not too bad I guess. Try restaurant across the street with nice seafood and check out local night market just up the street which was great.

The main reason we chose this hotel was because it has family rooms that can accommodate up to 4 pax per room. So when we reached the hotel building, we had mixed feeling, we have doubt looking at the elevator and there was no hotel lobby to be seen. Aparently the building is being shared with other business tenant. What I like about the hotel are the location is very near to lrt/mrt, approximately 3 to 5mins walk, clean bed and linen, good shower and spacious room. What I dont like about the hotel are the limited breakfast spread, aircond are not really working and although the staff is very helpful, they speak little to almost non english vocab.
