This is a quirky little place that feels like a home away from home. It has the feel of a beach holiday. The cabins are well kept and the hostess Nadege is kindness herself. Pharest has a restaurant that is open to the public as well as guests. It is casual and welcoming...Nadege is a wonderful cook. Her creole cooking is served on the table, home style to be shared and we anticipated what she would serve each night. We sat around talking, having a rhum aperitif and enjoying warm company and ambience. I really hope I have the opportunity to stay at Pharest again.

We stayed in the wooden hut for one night as it was close to the airport for an early morning flight and we had been travelling on the east side of the island. The hut is small but very clean and has all the equipment needed in a self-catering unit. It is situated in private gardens which are very relaxing. Just some advice: 1) you need to clean the unit after your stay. If not you will be charged a Euro30 cleaning fee 2) try to book directly with the accommodation - Hotels.com charged a 40% premium on the price you would pay directly through the accommodation.
