We needed somewhere which would provide a clean and comfortable room at reasonable cost, provided free car parking and which had its own restaurant operating during covid. It provided all of these and was extremely efficient.

Smart modern hotel and a good stay
Reviewed By OutnAbout007Stayed one night on a drive south. Pre-booked. Very clean hotel, with large rooms, comfy beds and air-con. Free car parking in a secure pound. Quiet too, despite being close to the main by-pass. Staff attentive, though spoke no English. Not a problem for us. Breakfast at extra cost was very good - buffet style, with plenty of choice. Would recommend this hotel for brief stopovers.

Charming bed and breakfast in a park of 6000 m2 A large suite of 45 m2, with bathroom and dressing room in a castle of the 18th century. A room of 28 m2 with bathroom in an outbuilding overlooking a rose garden. A room of 30 m2 with bathroom and a cottage of 70m2 fully equipped with upstairs 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shared toilet. Fireplaces, parquet floors, air conditioning, WiFi, flat screen TV, large enclosed free parking.
Hidden gem magnificent house in town
Reviewed By Gray-family88We had a wonderful two nights in this truly magnificent bourgeois house right in the centre of town. It takes your breath away as you enter into its large grounds (the “parc”) which are immaculately tended by the Sylviane, the owner - it contains an ancient chestnut tree, formal garden and large selection of unusual roses. My daughter was entranced by the several breeds of chickens which roam the garden. The house itself is stunning. We stayed in the Royale suite in the main house which was very tastefully decorated and immaculately clean, sumptuous bedding, superb bathroom with separate toilet and large walk in shower. Sylviane has overlooked nothing and there are touches of her impeccable taste everywhere. It’s brilliantly placed right in town so you can walk to several good restaurants and bars. You also have a boulangerie right next door - not that you need it because breakfast at the house is fabulous - viennoisserie, jams, baguette, cheese and other delicious things. You can also stay in a separate house (the cottage) and the renovated stable block. St Dizier is well placed to visit the champagne houses nearby in Vitry or Reims and Epernay are an easy hour’s drive away. We cannot recommend this beautiful place enough.

It is an old country house, with appropriately creaky floorboards, and well decorated in a very French style - pinks, swirls and antique furniture, so right up our street! The room was cosy and clean with a lovely view over the garden. The breakfast was of ham and cheese with eggs done the way you like, croissants and various home made jams. We were made to feel very much at home.

Reviewed By herts193The hotel is in a good location, but in need of refurbishment. It is showing its age especially in the bathroom. There is no air conditioning which is needed, however this was clearly stated when booked.

They are fully refurbished and the hotel is 100% non smoking.They are all equipped with telephone, work desk, double glazing, TV flat screen.All rooms have a full en-suite private bathroom and equipped with shower or bathtub, sink and toilet.WiFi is present in all rooms and free unlimited.

OK for one night
Reviewed By James HThe hotel was a bit tired and the rooms not very inviting. But the place was clean enough and fine for one night transit on a cycle trip across Europe. The owner is a great guy, very welcoming. Staff were helpful and pleasant too. The restaurant was excellent and I definitely recommend it.

Run! Flea bag hotel: Safety is an issue
Reviewed By samantha pPositives: 1. Next to the train station 2. A 3rd world grocery store to buy snacks, food. 3. Free WiFi, slow but gets email. Negatives: 1. It's a dump. 2. The door lock to your room is flimsy. Hall light switch is into the hallway 3. No aircon, windows open for air makes it extremely noisy. Like sleeping in the street. 4.Room is dirty. Just gross. 5. No hot water maker, no fridge, no hair drier, used , yes used soap for amenities. I can't recommend this hotel.
