Glitzy hotel but fails to deliver
Reviewed By FieldsSydneySpent the one night here as part of an Ardeche walking tour. Included dinner and breakfast. Were placed in room 21 - this should be avoided as it is right above what is likely to be the kitchen - very noisy until 12.30am and minimal views of what is a spectacular setting despite being well appointed. Hotel manager (female) was rude when we asked something about the meal "what's your problem". 3 course meal - entree was a bland offering of duck slices and some vegetables. Main was a piece of fish and not much else. Dessert was a mouse of some description - uninteresting. Pre-dinner drinks and wine were overpriced. We were asked to vacate dinner table after an hour and a half (to make way for second sitting- didn't know about this). Breakfast was very good - wide variety of drinks/food. This is a hotel that is is very fancy but be careful of room choice and expect to pay $$$ +.

Chaque chambre possède un espace kitchenette afin de vivre votre séjour a votre rythme et comme à la maison. le frigidaire emplit a votre arrivée de produits frais (charcuterie, fromage, œufs, beurre, confiture, yaourts, jus de fruits, eaux minérales, céréales, miel et préparation pour boissons chaudes) permet d'improviser une dinette. Les viennoiseries et pain frais sont déposées derrière votre porte vers 8 h sans vous déranger. L offre touristique immédiate est en libre service. l'utilisation du hammam est en libre service. Possibilité de parking privatif sans supplément.
Wonderful and welcoming place in St Bonnet le Froid

I was positively surprised to find this little jewel in the “village gourmand” of St Bonnet le Froid a great place by itself that I recommend in a region that I love. The host Viviane was greatly helpful and welcoming. The decoration and interior design are the most amazing part. Rooms are big and spacious with all that is needed (fantastic bathroom too !). Quiet and private. Nice attentive breakfast. A really great deal at this rate ! Highly recommended !!

Mountain retreat was a real treat!
