Reviewed By 721derrickadVery Clean. Resort Manager was very helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced. I wish they had transportation to pick up and drop at the airport. My flight came in late and I was unable to get food. The staff prepared fried dumplings and chicken for me.?

A truly Jamaican experience
Reviewed By Extraordinary618161Firstly, let’s go for the positives of which there are many!… - mesmerising location. So tranquil. Views incredible and very quiet and peaceful - food was fantastic. Everything was fresh, well cooked and nice portions - stayed at birdshill, beautiful size, huge terrace, outdoor shower, outdoor day bed - all very relaxing - staff friendly and approachable - beautiful pool and pool area, fantastic views, so relaxing However, there were some things which we feel need improving in order to make this a better experience, some of which may not be relevant for everyone… - our cafetière was broken. Asked for replacement but not done. Had to ask Ricardo the GM before anything changed. Furthermore, no actual coffee in the room, had to go collect some from the restaurant (why provide a cafetière with no coffee?). Whilst I’m on the coffee point, don’t expect a decent espresso or cappuccino - machine in the restaurant broken. I mean it’s 2022 should t they just provide a nespresso machine in the room. Maybe it’s just me. - room was amazing but yeah, a little dated. The oven was from the 1970s. Needs a spruce up - cleaning not done one day, had to ask for it to be done, which to be fair it was - service was a little slow in the restaurant. I mean you’re on Jamaican time, so it really wasn’t an issue for us, but if you’re in a rush it might be frustrating All in all I would definitely stay again. You cannot replicate the atmosphere in the evening in the dinky lit restaurant with the amazing views. It’s special. And the whole stay, despite the niggles above, was unforgettable.

Located on the edge of a coffee farm in the beautiful Blue Mountains of St. Andrew. One hour drive from Kingston. Prince Valley consists of five units. Each unit is private with private bath. Morning coffee, bun & seasonal fruit included. Simple evening meals upon request for a small fee. Parking is available. Rates are $35US- $40US per person per night. Unit 1 has two queen size beds, one double bed, inside hammock. Unit 2 has two double beds. Unit 3 has one single bed. Unit 4 (Treehouse built into our mango tree!) has one double bed. Unit 5 has one double bed and one single bed. All the verandas at Prince Valley look out upon the amazing Blue Mountains and the small modest coffee farm that lies below. Close to Hollywell National Park and some of the best hiking in the area. We offer you a place to completely relax, sip some of the best coffee on the planet and enjoy the beauty of nature!
Paradise and felt like family
Reviewed By juliaunholdEasy a highlight of our trip through Jamaica. Prince Valley is located in the middle of the mountains and offers the most incredible view. The guesthouse is also a coffee farm and a vegetable/fruit farm meaning breakfast is DELICIOUS and the whole area is breathtakingly beautiful. Bobby and Ruth own the place and made us feel more like family than guests. More than once they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and help us achieve what we wanted to do. Great hikes in the area, nice cafes and restaurants in driving distance, and little shops and bars 10-15 min walking away. But generally speaking: we recommend to not don’t plan much other than being in this gorgeous place. Take a tour of the nearby coffee estate and maybe a day trip to Kingston if you’re interested. Honestly can’t recommend Prince Valley enough.

A wonderful escape
Reviewed By Kerikeri876Rafjam is such an awesome hidden gem! In addition to the property being absolutely beautiful the owner, Susan, is the sweetest. I made a last minute reservation and she was so accommodating. I only stayed for one night and she made sure I was completely at home and comfortable. My time here was so relaxing I didn’t want to leave. My room was clean and comfortable and had a balcony with a hammock overlooking the river that runs through the property. The property has decent wifi which is great if you don’t want to completely unplug. The food was good and everything about the property just screamed peace and relaxation. There is a section of the road on the way to Rafjam that might be a little challenging to maneuver, but it’s not enough to deter me from going back. Overall it was a great experience and I can’t wait to visit again!

Reviewed By sandyk2020I'll start by saying Cleanest place it was totally immaculate. The staff was beyond. Kind caring and accommodating GQ the host and the assistant host Kevon were so concerned and caring about our needs the entire staff there as well went above and beyond they couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast and dinner were completely amazing. Served whenever we were ready. The food was fresh and delicious. The views were unimaginable. You could look over the ocean from the two beautiful pools as well as Mountain views. The best place I stayed on the island. And you're only minutes out of the big city. Woke up in Paradise. Can't say enough about the staff it's like being with family. Can't wait to go back. Definitely a 5 star in my book.
