Dowlat Villas Palace is a heritage palace which runs as a home stay, located in the heart of Himmatnagar town, Gujarat. The Royal family recently started entertaining guest to explore the palace property. The guests eat home-cooked food (pre-fixed) - Gujarati, Rajasthani, North Indian, Nepalese cuisines. We serve veg/non-veg/jain food. The palace has recreational room with pool table, T.T table and various indoor board games; a swimming pool, badminton court and place for various outdoor games/activities. A family heritage walk exploring history/antique/weapons. Dowlat Villas Palace was built by Maharaj Mann Singhji in 1920s and has a very unique scorpion castle-like structure. The Dowlat Villas Palace only consist of the central portion which included the face, body and sting of the scorpion. Presently Maharaj Saheb Bhagirath Singhji of Jaswantgadh-Idar, the eldest son of Maharaj Umeg Singhji owns and resides at Dowlat Villas Palace along with his son Rajkumar Suryavir Singhji.

Reviewed By chetan2900It was much needed break for a peace, specially after 2020 covid year and we few friends wanted to go for a place definitely not far from Ahmedabad not to go to Rajasthan as its too common to go there, we decided to find a place with in Gujarat and we wanted to peace nothing else, one of my senior media friend Anil Mulchandani suggested the place Dowlat Villas Palace and may be after checking some more than 50 property around Gujarat and Rajasthan we decided lets lock Dowlat Villas Palace, though we thought its with in Gujarat and at Himatnagar so what fun we could get from this place, but as i said if the bottom line is peace, if the bottom line is royal stay, if the bottom line is relaxing, if the bottom line is good food, good ambiance, neat and clean rooms, with a heritage tag, official heritage property, you dont need any thing else. At honest note if you are typical tourist as in you need room service on time, food on time, room service guy to run on every your call to attend you, if you are typical with food habit, i am sure either you or your wife ;) please dont go and spoil the mood of the owner or your trip mood, If you can except the life as it comes, as some times you need to give time to the environment, you need to give time to people who are serving you, you need to give time to owner of the property, and when the royal family head himself taking care of you what else you want. I am only describing how one should expect a treatment there, not the treatment he or she should look for. This is a place you will visit again if you are looking for peace of mind. If you are writer, creative person, you are looking for fresh ideas, this is the place to refresh your mind and soul. The owner Suryavir Singh ji is from the royal family and believe me he will take care of you like a family so you get a royal experience.

The resort sprawls over an area of 5 acres where the accommodation and facilities of the resort blend charmingly into the quaint and rustic surroundings. Reviewed By 15_10plviTotally in love with this resort once again because it is a refuge to escape from city that too at a convenient distance and budget. Although the weather is not too comfortable to visit there and appreciate the beauty but this place is undeniably a perfect spot for nature and quiet surroundings lover. May be the reason being that the place is small , less populated and not many resorts to crowd the place yet. Moreover the staff is well behaved towards non-local travellers as well which is rare. Would love to visit it again in monsoon!!

We have banquet, restaurant, board room, DJ hall and garden facilities useful to arrange any events such as marriage/engagement ceremony, birthday party, business meeting, conference, get-together or any other occasion. Our banquet hall comprises capacity to facilitate 400 pax at a time. Moreover, our 100% vegetarian multi-cuisine restaurant is an excellent place.

Reviewed By Vedupatel1This was nice hotel in himmatnagar. Service was good. We have negotiate rate at reception. Staff was friendly. There was powerful air conditioning in room. Room was well maintained and cleaned. Hotel was located at peaceful location. My staying experience was great.

Reviewed By YogTelI was stay in Hotel Ashirwad for two days. Room was average but AC was working well. Bed also comfortable. I have feel sleep like home. Hotel was good value for money for pocket friendly travellers. This hotel was suitable for family too.
