Went out of their way to make you feel at home, and ensure you have a fantastic experience! Also great location, Saas-Grun is definitely somewhere to visit!

Swiss charm in good dhotel with excellent food
Reviewed By sonja pHotel Alpha is located near the main bus stop at the post office. From here all the Saas valley ski areas are easily to be reached: by buss, by car or by foot. The Citizenpass (Burgerpass) gives free access to all busses in Saastal The rooms in the hotel are basic and comfortable: very well isolated (no noise from neighbours), good bed, good shower, nice balcony on the southside. Rooms at 3rd & 4th floor are already renovated (dec 17) 2nd and 1st floor but rooms are convenient. Food is excellent. Staff is very service minded and friendly. Am bience is friendly and charming. Free WIFI available. Silvesterdiner and evening were superbe !

Reviewed By GeorgeMisBreakfast and dinner provided are very good. The mattress would need some change since it's suuuper soft from the use. The staff are very polite and helpful apart from the owner. I would expect more from a professional who has many years of experience in this business. Being polite and nice to the customer are basic requirements! I'm sure she will improve in the future.

In the beautiful hamlet Saas-Bidermatten at the outskirts of Saas-Grund, directly at the forest Biderwald you find the house Carmena with 7 self-catered apartments in a spectacular position with a breath-taking panorama. Couples, friends and parents really enjoy the space, comfort and tranquillity that our self catering apartments provide; families appreciate how child, toddler and baby friendly we are. Here you find perfect holiday homes for families. We have a lovely peaceful and tranquil setting where you can really refresh, relax and unwind. A small road is leading to the house and you can unload your luggage in front of the house, the parking is around 30 metres away. Yet, all of the fabulous attractions of the Saasvalley are easily accessible from our holiday apartments. You will receive the Citizens’ Passport from us - with the Citizens’ Passport you may use the buses within the Saasvalley for free during the year - in the summertime you may use most of the cable cars as well. We are looking forward to your visit. Welcome at the Apartments Carmena!
Super appartement for your vacation
Reviewed By annafB6687DIThanks for our lovly stay in Carmena appartement, a nice environment, a lot of space and light, all necessary and hospitable !!! Bus station in 2 min to access the ski lifts. We would like to highlight also that is was very clean and the place is calm.

Reviewed By Jacqueline MEasy check in.Spacious,neatly presented apartment, very functional for a family. 3 inviting bedrooms equipped with cupboards very practical . Modern features throughout. Quiet peaceful location. Postbus or drive to Saas Fee within 20 minutes. I would much rather prefer a later checkout though, than 10am. I would visit Haus Alpenstern “Trift” again with my family.

Wonderful festive stay
Reviewed By anniem351We stayed for five nights at the Adler. Linda was a great host from the second we arrived. Very courteous, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful and prepared us well for a day of skiing. Rooms were very comfortable with great views of the mountains. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Thank you Linda and your team.

Les chambres sont propres et bien agencées. La pension est calme, cuisine dispo pour le souper. Nous avons passé un bon séjour et nous reviendrons

Lovely traditional dinner at Bärgsunnu
Reviewed By traceyleezWe stayed in Saas Grund for a few nights in winter and wanted to have a traditional Walliser meal. We ate the most delicious Alpenrosti at Hotel Bärgsunnu and enjoyed the lovely hospitality of the owners. The venue was very warm and homely and we would certainly recommend that any visitor try this delightful hotel and restaurant.

Surprisingly good
Reviewed By Premolars208Not withstanding the indifferent welcome we received, we actually got used to this place & rather enjoyed it- becoming friendly with the staff. The owners are a little special- not the warmest people but I put it to the stress of running a place like this- they obviously inherited the Hotel which why not much money has been spent on it. They own another two buildings. The food is remarkably good- Fresh Pizza except on Mondays, excellent tomato soup & Bunter salad. The meats are ok. Freshly prepared & served hot. The waitresses, Madelaine & Sylvia, are excellent, especially the one from Germany (Big Jugs, we called her) The other, who also possesses a large platter, was a delight but limited with her English & her BF, one of the chefs, was constantly keeping a watchful eye! Don't blame him- very cute. This was the best place to watch Wimbledon. In the end, a complimentary schnapps was always served with my coffee. Overall, we really enjoyed it.
