During our short stay, we had room 1078, the view from this room was of the sea, we found the staff to be attentive and friendly, the rooms/corridors themselves need new bit of carpet, but outside of that we had no issue. The carpets did not effect our abiility to sleep so all in all it was a goof stay

We spent seven nights here and we picked it because of the location which is excellent. The room was a little bit smaller than we had hoped for but it was clean, well serviced and had an excellent view. There is good parking but no wifi so you need to sign up to their cloud. All the staff (from Sean the General Manager to housekeeping) were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast. Great restaurant. I’m gluten free and they have a good understanding of allergies. Finally, we loved the way they surprised us at dinner when they found out it was our anniversary

We came for lunch on a Monday and I had my 3 year old with me and they don’t do a kids menu only a small bites with just two options which was fish and chips or sausage I ordered the burger for myself and my son the fish and chips. He ate my burger because the fish was hardly any fish it was just pure batter and the burgers tastes like they was frozen cheap burgers you buy in the supermarket like rubbery. And the onion rings has so much batter on them you had the taste of grease in your mouth. Place was nice but food wasn’t amazing. Should defiantly have a kids menu or even more choose for small bites.

Conveniently located on the esplanade this Victorian hotel has unique sea views and benefits from being on a level seafront position. The beach is close by and the shops and holiday attractions of the well-known resort of Ryde are only a short walk away. The hotel is also well-situated for buses, taxis, trains and the hovercraft, so offers the ideal base to travel all around the island as well as over to Portsmouth with its rich maritime history. The seafront position lends itself to some wonderful views from the restaurant and lounges - the perfect place to sit back and relax. Whether touring historic houses or visiting natural adventure parks, watching the yachting action and festivities of Cowes week, or just relaxing on one of the islands many beaches, you are sure to enjoy the island’s unique charm.
Good sized and comfortable bedroom with nice twin/double bed, immaculate shower room and toilet. We had a bedroom on the 2nd floor with a sea view, overlooking the hoverport which some might find noisy but we thought was fascinating. Great breakfasts and lovely 3 course meal in the evening provided as part of the gift package. Some areas could do with updating: the lift wasn't working, which we didn't mind but which might be a problem if you are less able; the sofas on the ground floor need replacing. Friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous cocktails!

Brand New, Purpose built 4 star property set in 37 acres of outstanding natural beauty incorporating a 20 acre lake.
4 star is generous. Little things make this hotel a little overpriced and dated. Room was £215 for the night plus £35 for a rollaway bed for our 2 year old. Rooms are basic , clean but not anywhere near luxury. Room Tv is old fashioned and small, tv signal is ok . No fridge in room, NO room service , no concierge , breakfast is fine if not a little Luke warm on the buffet stations. No labels on the drinks jugs , so the juices pot luck if your colour blind or not totally sure of the difference in colour. The spa was ok , but we went twice and the water buckets in the saunas were empty , there are patches of repair and repainting needed in the main swimming pool room. And when walking around the grounds there were dirty glasses left , broken plastic window in the lake view lovers seats. Would expect a greater care and attention to detail for a hotel advertised as a 4 star. The staff are friendly and our stay was adequate , just a little uncomfortable with our total bill for room and breakfast for 3 nights being £740 . Wouldn’t choose this hotel again to stay in , which is a shame as a lovely lake view next to it.

What an incredible location for our week away from the hustle and bustle of our normal lives. Views acrossthevalley. Peace and quiet. Amazing friendly owners who were always discretely making sure we were happy. The finishes in the cottages were exceptional, and with special touches that show how important the owners take the quality of your stay. The animals on the farm are a real bonus. Tickling pigs was a surprising highlight

I am sad to say this was not an enjoyable stay, the staff were very helpful & friendly, but We had two awful nights sleep & this morning I found out why, see attached photos. Please supply your guests decent beds, I suffer with a bad back & this was not fun. No one was on reception when we left this morning so I was unable to report.☹️

Will never recommend this place. I booked a double room then messaged to say its our anniversary they offered us an upgrade for £5 a night instead of £10. Which I accepted but when we got there was thinking what was we booked into? The garage? This place was terrible so dusty, leaky toilet, dodgy shower head holder this was loose. The shower head cameos 1st morning and bruised my leg. Itwas very noisy and noisy neighbours slamming doors.i was coughing all night due to the amount of dust and there was visible bugs.
