The Hotel La Malle Poste is located in the bustling little town of Rochefort, in the very heart of the Belgian Ardennes. You will love the exceptional location and cosy atmosphere. This stylish hotel offers 24 charming yet modern rooms located in a character building, and will definitely tick all your boxes!
We were excited to stay at the La Malle Poste for our anniversary. We booked a room in their annex and was asked if we would like to upgrade to the main hotel the day before our arrival. We accepted the upgrade only to find out on our arrival that the shower was NOT operating. There was a bathtub with a shower hose we could use. For a tall person that is not something to look forward to. The bathroom and room were very spacious. Breakfast was nice, I feel the scrambled eggs were from a box, nothing I have had before and at this level of a hotel.

This weekend we stayed with our 2 children and dog (which was welcomed very nice) in chateau de vignee. The total stay was perfect! The staff is extremly friendly and does everthing to make your stay the best possible. Today we needed to leave early and the hotel did everything to make sure we could have breakfast before the regular hours. We used the wellness and the massages were very nice, also with the roomservice was no effort to much! We will definitely return!

Check in counter 300m away from actual hotel, and they ask you to go get the keys (instead of bringing them to you) No heater (10C night outside, end of September) Too expensive 70eur a night for a 2 star hotel in a small town

We didn't stay at the hotel, we only had lunch in the restaurant. I had the 'magret de canard au miel et gingembre' my husband had the steak with pepper sauce. Both dishes were perfectly served on hot plates. The steak as well as the duck were coocked as they are supposed to be. The white wine might have been more chilled, but that is a personal preference. My compliments to the chef.

Wauw wat een mooie B&B. Warme ontvangst, mooi gezellig ingericht.

We had the good fortune to spend a night here in October. Daniël and Chantal greeted us warmly and we shared welcome drinks and conversation by the fire (local Trappist beer!). The day was chilly, but we decided against the sauna because of the rain. We enjoyed a delectable 3 course dinner at Les Buisonnets (I had pre-arranged this for my husband's birthday). Breakfast brought more delicious treats featuring pastries, excellent croissants, homemade marmalade, cheese, cold cuts, homemade bread, fresh fruit, and more. The bed was comfortable and all rooms have a private bathroom. The B & B is the former home of a wealthy industrialist and Daniël and Chantal have transformed it into a lovely place to stay. There are many opportunities for outdoor activities such as walking and cycling and the views of the surrounding areas are top notch. The caves in Han are a short ride away and are well worth a visit. We recommend it highly! Book via e-mail and you can pre-pay with bank transfer.

Set in a converted tram stop dating back to 1836, this vintage-style country inn is near the E411 motorway (exit 23 towards Han sur Lesse). It is 5 km from Château de Lavaux-Sainte-Anne and 6 km from the caves of Han-sur-Lesse. The basic rooms with vintage furniture feature TVs, minibars and en suite bathrooms. Breakfast is free. The property has a quaint 1-brewery restaurant decorated with artwork with seating area and a beautiful rear terrace overlooking the large garden where meals are served in good weather. Pets are welcome in the rooms with supplement, and also in the restaurant and on the terrace.
Once a nice and typically Ardennes country house, now really in need of some renovation. Good breakfast and very good restaurant. Superfriendly reception and free brochures and explanation about the area.
