May stay in Rauma, very good central location of Rauma. Free parking in the back yard. Nice sauna in the nerby house (crossing the parking lot on the backside of the hotel). The hotel need some upgrade in some areas but still a good hotel.

Hotel Cityhovi is a small nice hotel next to the old town, so the location is excellent close to everything. Rooms were basic but clean, personnel was frindly, breakfast was good, everything worked as planned. So if you prefer a smallish cosy hotel in the city center, you may choose this.

The comfortable full-service hotel is located next to the city centre and historical Old Rauma, in a beautiful canal setting. Refurbished rooms and a large free parking area guarantee a successful visit.
The hotel it self is a bit dated, but the rooms are nice and seems to be recently renovated. The breakfast is very nice and has a large selection of different items and the service at the front desk is nice. That was the positive. The negatives then: The bistro is - at best - okay and definitely overpriced for what you get. The same goes for the minibar and for the small selection of soft drinks at the reception. They charge upwards of 9.5€ for a single bottle of beer. Surely they can do better than that.

The room was not clean (dirty pantie from previous guest), bed broken and not ready to sleep and mirror in the bathroom shabby. The hôtel is quite easy to find and a parking is near the entrance. No reception during your stay.

The hotel is basic but at least the twin room was spacious and comfy. Toilet&shower are in the corridor but luckily there was one per floor. The Kylmäpihlaja Lighthouse location is great so I guess you pay for the location. Breakfast was good. I had lunch and dinner in the restaurant and the food was good. There is not much to do so bring a book. The restaurant and cafe offering is limited but they are open all day. Overall setting was great; perhaps I would not want to stay more than one night but I think it was worth it. Sunset and -rise were beautiful.

Haus Anna is a fairly basic but perfectly adequate B&B, in a quiet residential area. The big pluses are that it's barely 10 minutes stroll from Old Rauma, the owner is on site and most helpful, and the price is very reasonable. The rooms, while less than luxurious, are spacious and clean. And a decent breakfast is served overlooking the garden. Overall... good value for money.

Seaside charm in the center of Rauma On the bay of Otanlahti, right by the Baltic sea, you'll find the park-like holiday resort of Poroholma. The resorts unique milieu, with its 18000-century Lace villa and sail ship harbor, provides the perfect setting for a successful holiday. At the resort's high-quality caravan and cabin area, you can stay right on the beach or sheltered by trees. There are a number of restaurants at the resort, in addition to the variety of activities, ranging from karaoke to cable wakeboarding. One of the gems of Poroholma is its tall ship harbor. Which is expanding for the summer of 2016, when the 49 meters long raw sailed ship Gerda, Finland's largest tall ship in sailing condition, arrives to Poroholma. The resort is a part of the Otanlahti Beach Park, from where you can also find many sports areas, an outdoor swimming pool and an open-air summer theater. Poroholma is also the official water bus port, with departures for cruises in the archipelago of Rauma. Idyllic Old Rauma, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, is within a walking distance from Poroholma. It is the largest unified historical wooden town in the Nordic countries. Even today it is the heart of the town, with little boutique shops, cafes and restaurants for you to enjoy. You can also reach Old Rauma conveniently from the resort with the city train Kake, that operates regularly from Poroholma to the city center.
We booked the chalet for 5 people. Luckily only for one night. The house was to small for 5 people and without any option to cool it down. There is no possiblity to even open a window. Only by opening the door you get an idea of fresh air. In fact this "chalet" is more a hut. Oh, and by the way to wash, cook or shower you have to use the public facilities of the camping site....
