Showed up at 4:30 for a 3:00 check in and our room was not ready. Was informed by staff that check in starts at 3:00 pm but doesn't guarantee a check in around that time. Inquired about a complimentary late check out since room was not ready, but was informed by staff that a late checkout is what caused the problem of my room not being ready. I understand if it is busy and the room wasn't ready but there was no attempt at all by any hyatt staff to make it right, it felt like they just were blaming others. No pool towels, and it took quite awhile for them to bring towels. Also parking is not convenient to this location. You can park across the street at Marriott's parking garage for $10 a night or make a bit of a walk to a back lot they share with a grocery store. Room was clean, pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. Breakfast options were sub par. Won't be staying again.

Check in was excellent. Josh was welcoming and helpful. Wish all check in desks could have a Josh. But upon walking to the elevator we found the area hallway and walls to be shabby and looked unclean, unkep. The elevator was the same. The hallways smelled like they are using perfume to mask the ordor, our room was not up to Hampton Inn standards…….It was reminiscent of a bad hotel you see in the movies. We were tired from a 7 hour road trip so we stayed. The following morning we did try to partake of your breakfast, (which we have had at many a Hampton Inns in the past, and have been very pleased with)…..there's was one of the worst. The young lady taking care of things, looks unkept and lazy at trying to stock the breakfast offerings. There was food on the floor in the eating area, and everything looked unkept. We left and drove to McDonalds. There certainly looked like there were many hotels in the area.....better try another one. We've always been pleased with Hampton Inns, this was a disappointment.

We enjoyed the mini kitchen and amenities of this hotel. We also like the location and the beauty of Provo and the mountain views from our room. The bed was comfy and the bathroom shower was great. Breakfast was good and nice options.

The hotel general manager "Ishan" kicked us out of the hotel within minutes of me calling the customer service number to report that we could not connect to the wifi. He knew my wife was getting surgery in a day and that we had 2 young children with us. He said he was kicking us out but instead called the police to legally protect himself making it so that I could not even request compensation from their customer care number. When he confronted me in the lobby where I moved so that l could connect to the wifi he said, "What is wrong with you?" then bossed me around rudely telling me, "Come to the desk now!" He then demanded we let him into the room to prove that we were not lying to see that the wifi would not connect to our personal devices. When I told him no, he interrupted me over and over rudely, when I asked him to stop interrupting me he told me, "Shut up! Or I will kick your family out of the hotel!" He then just walked away and called the police telling them that I was being hostile but I was not. I recorded the entire situation to prove that he was lying and how he treated us. I also recorded him watching youtube soap operas on his computer in the room behind the desk, the door was open. I called him when I was in the lobby and he didn't even get up. When I called customer care they were also not able to get ahold of him because he didn't answer the phone due to being busy watching youtube. He was extremely hostile, confrontational, rude, disrespectful and antagonistic. He also lied to the police by saying that I was being hostile which I was not. This hotel was disgusting, does not have free wifi unless you want to sit in the lobby and get harassed by the general manager Ishan. I would rather sleep under a bridge with drug addicts then ever stay here again. This hotel is now on my companies black list. Stay anywhere else but here. The "customer care" also did nothing, even after I was told they would refund 1 day of our stay which they did not. The hotel was dirty, the water didn't work well. There is zero circulation in the room and I could not find a single air duct so it was hot and muggy the entire stay. It smelled terrible inside of the room and there was a slimy grime on the floor everywhere in our room and the rest of the hotel. The carriage carts were broken. The wifi disconnects and is extremely slow in the lobby where you can get a signal, we could not get a signal in our room so I could not work the entire time we were there. There were stains on the sheet and the fridge was not cold. Worst hotel ever. Stay away!

Nestled in the valley formed by the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache mountains, Days Inn Provo hotel near Brigham Young University is the perfect place for your Utah vacation. Our convenient location near Highway 189 means it is easy to visit popular destinations near our pet-friendly Provo, UT, hotel. Our welcoming, helpful staff will help you get the most out of your trip.
no parking for pickup and trailer. You gotta stay across the street in some one elses property and hope that you dont get a ticket. My unit was a dump, big patch over shower area that a lazy teen ager must have done. TV was a huge fuzzy mess on analogue. door did not fit right I could see sun light all the way around it. The bugs thought a lose door was great. Windham name is crap to me. They have dumps on their site.

Nice place. Convenient to Sams Club and Sizzler Steakhouse. Checkin was easy. Parking lot is shared with on site restaurant, so parking was scary at first. Good value for the money spent. Will stay again

I have stayed at this Springhill Suites multiple times over the last four years. Pre COVID the rooms were cleaned daily, hot breakfast (decent assortment), WiFi, etc. I stayed twice during covid, but I knew they were not cleaning rooms or serving breakfast. Now I feel like the owner is taking too many cost cutting measures to the detriment of the traveler. A lot of hotels have gone back to cleaning rooms and serving hot breakfast. The rooms are not cleaned unless requested. Breakfast is some boxed cereal, pre-packaged quiche or some sort of bagel with what looks like an egg and a piece of cheese and yogurt. If you run out of anything in your room you either have to call and request it or walk down to the front desk. I quit making coffee in the room, instead I walked down and got some out from the breakfast area. Need new towels, you have to go and get them. These all seem menial. but you start to notice these type of items and realize what you are paying stayed the same but the "extras" are not there. The ice maker on the second floor was not working. The door to the pool wasn't working. Even the TV remotes are horrible, you literally have to press the buttons 3-4 times to change the channel or volume. I didn't even bother signing into Netflix the remote is trash. I have no idea what has happened to the WiFi, maybe it was our room, but the WiFi is terrible. It would cut in and out all of the time and the speed is terrible. Next time I am in Provo I will find a different hotel.

The Sleep Inn of Provo is located in East Bay at the South end of Provo next to Novell and the East Bay Business Park and within walking distance to the Provo Town Center and the East Bay Shopping Mall. The Sleep Inn of Provo provides the best value in town with very competitive rates, great selection of rooms types, and hotel amenities. Of course, location is a significant factor with easy on and off access to I-15 as well as short distance to main local attractions including Provo Downtown, Utah Lake, Seven Peaks, Brigham Young University, Provo Canyon, Bridal Veil Falls, and Sundance. The 2009 renovation for the Sleep Inn of Provo in 2009 included both a remodel of the original hotel in the rooms and public area, and the addition of a swimming pool, a fitness center, and new upgraded rooms.
We chose this hotel for a 4-night stay based on reviews on the hotel website such as "excellent!" and "Clean." We were also looking for a hotel that included daily breakfasts. What we got was a let down. Let me say I'm not one to complain because I've lived in 3rd world countries. So this review is written for those who really want to know what to expect. Many people may be just fine with it. We expected better for the location and price. The hotel was not well cared for with hallways and stairs that weren't vacuumed or swept during our entire stay. Consequently, there were cigarette butts on the stair entry way floor and lots of accumulated, tracked in litter. No rooms were available on the first floor because of repairs that were needed. for us that was a real problem because our son is autistic and physically and mentally disabled. He absolutely freaks out in elevators so we are forced to use stairs. The key card reader for the north stairway closest to our room was very temperamental, sometimes not working at all, and added to a serious meltdown by our son who cannot handle many of life's inconveniences. The key reader from the same stairwell to the pool area never worked so we had to walk from the far end of the hotel to the other then back to the inside entrance. That key reader was also temperamental and only worked if you moved the card a certain way. Breakfast was Continental. Fruit Loops and Cheerios, yogurt, apples, oatmeal packets, and a single mini-waffle iron that resulted in long waits while others were using it. Juice and coffee were available as well. Not what we have experienced at other hotels with "free breakfast.' The dining area was tiny and crowded, with a second set of tables upstairs. The bedroom was very clean. BUT, the beds were ultra soft from being worn out and pillows were tiny. The chairs were dirty and worn, especially the desk chair. The TV was small. The fridge worked well but had no freezer which we needed. Microwave worked fine. The bathroom was very clean. The shower head and water pressure were mediocre. The towels were stiff and rough like cardboard (fabric softener???). The swimming pool has large patches of concrete lining that are missing and while the water looked clean the bottom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in some time. The water temperature was very nice. The hot tub was mostly clean but had sand and small pebbles that have accumulated and never been removed in cleaning. The temperature varied greatly, one day nice and hot, and another more like mid-90's. The jets were mediocre. The elevator was very small and slow but clean and it worked fine. The personnel at the front desk, the cleaning room staff and maintenance staff were fabulous and friendly. The location is excellent with quick access the freeway, convenience stores, restaurants and fast food close by, and Provo City Center only a couple of minutes away. The view from our room was spectacular with the mountains directly in front of us. All in all, the experience wasn't bad, just not great. We would spend more next time and stay elsewhere in the future. It's too bad Choice Hotels has settled for mediocre facilities.
