Totally Gorgeous Hotel

Reviewed By sbaron717831

We booked a night here after a long road trip, on our way towards home. We were given a complimentary upgrade due to the fact that we were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary, which made our stay so special. I would definitely have paid full price for our spacious King Suite, which featured beautiful furniture, crisp sheets, comfortable bed, kitchenette, and an amazing bathroom with a hot tub. Front desk was courteous and professional, hotel was gorgeous. We will definitely be back!

Staff was friendly & efficient. We loved the cozy lobby with the Bolt coffee bar…..both the coffee & the muffins/scones we had were fantastic. And, oat milk…..yay!!!

A desk staff that can’t be bothered

Reviewed By S M

For a hotel of this caliber, you’d think that there wouldn’t be a broken ice machine on the 22nd floor. Also, our travel corkscrew broke, so we called the desk. Leslie, who answered, said she’d look for a corkscrew and call us back. After 10 minutes without a callback, we had to call again. We were then told in a pretty flippant manner that they don’t have one single solitary corkscrew in the entire hotel. Mind you, this hotel is pretty nice and not cheap, and the Omni Providence has restaurants that serve and uncork wine. What Leslie was really saying was that she was too lazy to have one sent to us, and that we do not deserve great customer service. We are not used to that level of complacency and lack of care when we travel. We will not stay at an Omni hotel again.

The Beatrice in Providence

Reviewed By WorldTraveler89

The Beatrice is xebtrally licated in the banking district just .5 miles away from the Amtrak station in downtown Providence. Nicely appointed The Beatrice is a lively upscale boutique hotel. The amenities certainly speak to the price tag, but rooms are small, but quaint. The bathroom was clean and very modern. As for the cons..no iron nor ironing board, no microwave, and cleanliness was mediocre at best in the bedroom. Every surface was dusty from top to bottom, and as usual hair was found on the sole chair in the room. That said, having travelled all over the planet, i can count 1 hand how many hotel rooms meet my definition of "clean" ( meaning hair and dust free and stain free walls, floors ,mirrors, doors, etc). These are the consequences of staying in a shared space , with too few staff members who have the time or skill to adequately clean the rooms. Hotels lied to the public about COVID protocols, when really that just means that perhaps the tv remote and phone have been cleaned with disinfectant...but the level of cleanliness hasnt improved at all.

Staff was Fantastic

Reviewed By Z6389QVtomf

I have stayed there twice now in the last 4 months, and each was great. However, this time was fantastic thanks to John. John works both the Bluefin and the M Club. He was very accommodating, and his service was impeccable. He added an atmosphere of fun while still maintaining a professional demeanor. I will be returning just because of him. The reception desk personnel were also great. The room was quiet (but I was on the 5th floor), clean, and comfortable.

Very Disappointed

Reviewed By MargaretBST

I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties, from Coast to coast. This property in Providence, is very dated. The staff at the front desk at check-in was inattentive. The next day at check out, I had to go to them to have them correct a billing error on their part, they took care of it. Even though I am a loyal Hilton customer, I felt like they could’ve cared less if I was there or not. The property is dated, air conditioning/heating is horrible. The air blows on the bed at night, causing you to either throw off bedding or cover up. I wish I would’ve selected another Hilton property, possibly the Homewood suites.
