We have two traditional rancho rooms and three luxury safari tents and can sleep a maximum of 24 people. A complimentary breakfast is included each morning and local bars, restaurants, supermarkets and Playa Potrero are an easy 10 minute stroll away. We can arrange airport shuttles, onward travel and local activities such as sunset cruises, wildlife spotting, surf lessons, horse riding, fishing, massages and ATV tours. We pride ourselves on making guests feel like part of our family and creating a laid back vibe at our intimate and artistic boutique resort. We created Libélula from the heart, driven by a love for design, nature, art, food and people. Our ethos is to respect our planet and our wildlife and to care about our neighbours and our community. We protected the mature trees in our garden to encourage wildlife, to create a shady oasis and to provide us with native fruits. We upcycled many of the materials we found on the property to make unique design features such as handcrafted lamps, recycled furniture, bespoke beds, upcycled tables and homemade games. We support Costa Rican artists and our rooms showcase local talent from paintings and canvases to artisan masks from the indigenous Boruca tribe.
