Reviewed By garysW4823TQRecently had a weekend in Port Lincoln and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Limani. Both nights we left the blinds open and went to sleep admiring the views of the Harbour. Room was well laid out for three adults and very pristine on occupation. Will look forward to our return visit.

Great room and view
Reviewed By yv0nne303My partner & I had 2 nights here and loved the room. We had a spa room & had asked for an upper level room. We had room 609, a huge room on the corner on the top floor, so we had two great views, one of the water and the other of the town, and a wrap around balcony. Staff was great, the hotel is in a great location as well. Thoroughly this hotel

Reviewed By Vankee14My impression from the booking was, that the room was going to he quite large, it was smaller than expected but If I'm completely honest, I was happy to see how cosy the room was! The room we booked was suitable for 1 or 2 persons, so I'm sure if you have a family, they would have a larger room available! Everything in the room was perfect! The bed was unbelievably the comfiest bed we have ever slept on and you know what was the best part, For ONCE we stayed in a hotel with an actual comfortable couch! Never have we ever stayed anywhere, where the couch was perfect for lounging on. Wait, the other best part of this accommodation was, the TV has free Netflix... Like what?! How perfect is that for when you are away on holiday! The room was very well presented, There was a few good quality Chocolates in our room and also a Nespresso - Pod machine with some tasty Coffees. The only negative was that the Shampoo in the shower was pretty much empty and the conditioner was empty. But if they were full, I'd be happy to mention how great the bathroom was also, as the shampoos and conditioners weren't the small plastic bottles, so as for being economical, I was stoked to see that they used refillable containers for their shampoo and conditioners!

Very nice stay
Reviewed By arlene-SYDWe had one night at the Marina Hotel on our last night of our Eyre Peninsula trip. It’s a great part of Port Lincoln to stay as the area has everything you could need. Our deluxe suite was so spacious and beautifully styled. We had a ground floor room which had a small outdoor area to sit and have a wine and screen doors to keep the bugs out. When checking-in Cherrie was super friendly and made a booking for dinner suggesting a table on the deck. The food was very good plus a good selection of wines and beer. Staff were all friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and meal and hope to return one day.

Mmmmmmmmm...not what we expected and not up to scratch

But, I would have to say that this was disappointing when we entered the Apt. Not only was it all closed up and dark upon arrival ( we chose this location as it had a foreshore view) and you could not see this view, but it smelled damp and musty. Solution.....open windows! Well I couldn’t, they were jammed. I got one open, which was not enough to clear this smell. I called the owner to relay this, saying the windows needed a lubricant so we could freshen up the Apt. A misunderstanding in communication resulted in nothing being done. ( if it were my property, I would have been there in a flash to rectify) We visit Port Lincoln regularly as my daughter and her family live there, but we will not be staying here again. Also, in this covid world, a basket of not 100% clean toys ( with a spider ) should have been removed. Dead plant on balcony and a dusty outdoor table are not the same as the promo pictures.

Disappointing as not what was expected
Reviewed By Woven by RFrom the description we had an image of having a sea view in a quieter part of Port Lincoln. So was rather surprised on arrival to discover that the motel is dwarfed by the Viterra Silos, the companies long loading pier. Also motel is basically used by business people and cars are parked immediately outside all rooms. Consequently you get woken up at 5,30. There were a lot of large trucks blocking the remaining view. So if you want a holiday motel try somewhere else as you will be disappointed. That said the room was large but limited airflow. And you can walk along the sea front into town. Also reception people were really helpful and saved the day.

Reviewed By nigels757Super comfortable and beautiful setting. Very private and idyllic setting in the bush (we stayed in the Valley Retreat). Loved the fire as it was winter but the so cozy inside. We travel a lot and the bed here has to be one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in! The retreats are 15 minutes or so from Pt Lincoln, 10 mins from the airport - but they are true bush eco lodges with all the comforts you need. Pack the provisions and wine and sit back in comfort and enjoy the serenity of the bush.

Sea Breeze was a bad wind
Reviewed By Gai2806Having seen the photos on the website, Sea Breeze motel looked comfortable and well maintained. Sadly, this was not the reality. The motel was built in the early 1970s and it showed! The outside needed painting, the bathroom in the photo showed a nice glass shower recess. We had mould on the wall of the shower recess and on the window ledge of the bathroom. No glass screen for us. We had a tired shower curtain. There was one dispenser in the shower for body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The view over Port Lincoln was the only redeeming feature.
