Opened in August 2014, Crossroads Ecomotel is a newly built motel offering affordable quality accommodation in Port Augusta. The energy efficient buildings feature rammed earth, double glazing and SIPs to keep the heat and noise out and comfort in. Spacious rooms with kitchenette, ensuite, king bed, reverse cycle AC, large outdoor deck, leather lounge & 40" wall mounted TV. We receive lots of compliments on how comfortable the beds are and how good guests have slept. Many stay an extra night and most plan their return to stay with us again. We also have 2 rooms that are pet friendly (pets allowed in the rooms) but please call us to check availability.
Have stayed in Port Augusta twice before and what a shame we didn't know about this place until now! Booked it because it looked really good in the photos, and it's even better in person. Don't let the exterior put you off. Unbelievably good value, a beautiful modern and comfortable room for under $140 a night. We had room 11 and the decor was really tasteful - the rammed earth walls were gorgeous and the room just had a nice, relaxing feel to it. Amazingly comfortable pillows and king bed, lovely leather sofa, big TV, good wifi, kitchenette with microwave, bathroom with fantastic shower, private outdoor patio area (was too cold to use it, but would be great in warmer weather), and good block-out curtains. It was also very quiet despite being on the highway, 24-hour Coles Express across the road, and free parking at your room door. The man at reception was friendly. We've stayed at places not as good as this that cost four times as much. Can't fault this one and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Port Augusta if we are ever there again.

Quality accommodation surrounded by landscaped gardens, an eighteen - hole golf course, grand dining homestead with an emphasis on fine food and wine complemented by discerning personalised service.
Excellent place to stay. We stayed twice and found the upstairs room a bit more modern. In saying that though really comfortable. The restaurant meals are to die for - so fresh and tasty. Staff are extremely accommodating.

At the gateway to some of South Australia’s most spectacular destinations - the Flinders Ranges, outback and Spencer Gulf - is Port Augusta, just over 300 kilometres from Adelaide. Discovery Parks - Port Augusta (formerly Port Augusta Holiday Park) is the ideal holiday park to plan your great southern adventure. It’s not every day you get to travel on a moving museum, but step on board the unique Pichi Richi Railway and you’ll understand why it’s so special. Discover local history with a tour of the iconic Royal Flying Doctor Service and Wadlata Outback Centre, where you will walk in the steps of the Aboriginal people who have lived here for 40,000 years.
This time we didn't have the Van and were on a group trip so booked 3 x 2 bedroom cabins. I and our whole group have to commend the park on such beautiful accommodation. Our guests with us were from Canada and even they commented on how well appointed the cabins were and how they don't even have anything like this back in Canada. Must say a special thanks to the Reception staff as they were Super Friendly and made us feel very welcome. PS the Lemon water dispenser was a fantastic idea after a long hot drive.

Overlooking the upper Spencer Gulf and just off the A1 highway, this laid-back motel is 2.7 km from the Australia Arid Lands Botanic Garden. Amenities include a seasonal outdoor pool and BBQs.
I had made a mistake booking my dates (thought I booked 7 nights but only booked 1 night). The manager worked tirelessly to sort out my problem. Nice clean accommodation, close proximity to bars and restaurants that did good pub food. I will go back here if I’m working in the area n the future.

Room and service ok however we had the car broken into while it was parked outside the room. Speaking to staff they where not surprised. Train noise not a problem at all. I will not stay again due to the break in. Suggest you consider this before booking.

It's convenient, great bed & shower air con didn't work last time, bloody cold! Overall, not too bad, but there must be some who have grubby pets, given the extra cost! We'll probably stay again, because the options are non existent!

Family owned and operated the Acacia Ridge Motor Inn is located off the noisy highway and on a side street tucked away from the loud Pub's and rattling Railway Lines, we want our patrons to have a quiet relaxing stay without all these added interruptions and distractions from a great nights sleep. Yet, we are only 10 minutes walk to the city center or 5 minutes to one of the best eateries in town. Don't settle for a cold breakfast or the hassle of having to prepare your own, why would you when we offer a sit down ALL you can eat HOT Buffet Breakfast in our onsite Crossroads Breakfast Buffet Room! Bacon, Eggs, Grilled Tomatoes, Baked Beans, a variety of Cereals, Sliced Fruit, Orange Juice, Percolated Coffee, Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate and a spread of Jams. There is even the daily paper to have a read of while contemplating your next move.
We had problems locating the motel as it was Acacia Ridge Motor Inn when we booked. It was obviously sold to Discovery Parks recently. This is a huge facility comprising caravan park, camping grounds & motel rooms. The rooms had undergone renovation & were pleasantly furnished, were clean, & with effective air conditioning & strong showers with hot water. Room facilities include a fridge, microwave, toaster, iron, ironing board, tea/coffee, crockery. We had a very comfortable stay, with 2 double beds in our room. There is a communal kitchen on site. We took a short drive to Ians Best Western Hotel for good pub food.
