Another incredible stay at Hotel Walther thanks to the Swiss opening the borders to vaccinated US citizens. This was my 5th stay at Hotel Walther. Great hub for hiking. Incredible staff. Wonderful pool/spa. Consistently perfect. Spotlessly clean. 3 categories of single rooms make single stays available for folks traveling solo. Spectacular inclusive breakfast. Lovely Swiss bakery across street to get sandwiches to go for hiking. If I wake up at night and wonder where I am...I hope it's here.

I highly recommend that you do NOT book a room at this hotel. The customer service is terrible. I provided written notice on multiple platforms in advance of my scheduled stay that I needed to cancel my reservation for unforeseen circumstances related to Covid-19. Rather than working with me or showing even the slightest amount of grace, the general manager, Regina Amberger, responded with calloused, condescending lectures about how I need to be “responsible”—as if Covid interruptions indicate a lack of personal responsibility. To the contrary, choosing to change travel plans, unfortunate as it may be, is often the most responsible thing one can do in these times. But I am now left with a bill of nearly $700 in cancellation fees. Their policy, that cancellations must be made *28 days* in advance to avoid a penalty of the full amount, is plainly unreasonable, particularly in the environment of Covid-19. Medical interruptions to travel do not always surface one month away from a trip. The hotel knows this but chooses to enforce this policy entirely without discretion or concern for their guests. There are plenty of beautiful hotels in Pontresina—if you are interested in choosing one with even decent customer service, I encourage you to look at one of the other options.

In the Hotel Steinbock, happiness comes along very comfortably; after all, there is still a lot of real stuff in the walls. 300 years of history and family tradition are strong roots for the Engadine jewel. They give it the soul and the distinction of being a "Typically Swiss Hotel". In figures: 32 individually furnished rooms, three rustic guest lounges with a regional kitchen and an inviting sun terrace with garden. During your stay, you can also benefit from the extra bonus - big sister: with the amenities of the neighbouring Grand Hotel Walther, the AQUA VIVA spa and wellness area is also available to you for relaxation. The Steinbock is as genuine as the region itself and free of any staging. Homely and charming. Feel welcome!
We had the chance to stay in this hotel during a week for hiking ski. The staff was wonderful, attentive to details and friendly. Special thanks to Sandra, Nathalie, Roberto and Antonino, and the back-of-the-house team for their great commitment to make us feel at home. The affordable half board menu has regularly a Grison touch and is very tasty. The Walther family should also emphasise the fact that the hotel is involved in the glacier sustainable project! Well done! The hotel is a great location for skiing In Diavolezza or going to St Moritz.

30 cozy, beautiful and comfortable rooms, 3 restaurants with lots of pinewood, 1 terrace, of which we dare to say: it`s the most beautiful terrace in the world - all this, the glacier and much more awaits you at the Hotel Morteratsch in Pontresina. Welcome!
The restaurant’s huge sun terrace is just the most wonderful place to enjoy a drink after the approximately 6 km roundtrip to the Morteratsch glacier and back. And the building is basically right at the train station so one just gets up and steps back onto the train.

Our mountain lodge has a history of over one hundred years. Hotel Müller was opened in 1890 by Jakob Müller, wine merchant, postmaster and hotelier. In 2005, under new ownership, the hotel was completely renovated. The interior design is a jewel of elegance and simplicity. Delicate white tones are combined with precious timber which transmit warmth and life. Polished limestone from Burgundy and clear wooden floors create an unique atmosphere. The floor of the lobby is made of slates that were recovered from an old stone roof.
We stayed 4 nights in this hotel between Christmas and New Year 2021. The hotel is located in the middle of the village near restaurants and shops. The food was very good, breakfast had enough to offer. We had a dinner in hotel restaurant one night which was very tasty. We had junior suite overlooking hotel carpark and side road. The room was very spacious and quiet. There are slippers and dressing gowns. I normally don't sleep well in the hotels because of the different noises but I slept very well in this bedroom. There were however few negatives which we also mentioned at checkout. The living room with sofa bed did not have any proper curtains to keep street lights and morning light from all the windows away and there was also no privacy in the evenings because of the net curtains. The sofa bed is not for 2 people. Maybe two small children. Whenever one person moves, the whole sofa bed moves. It was not comfortable for our two 13 years old children. There is not much space where to sit in the living room, just one armchair and sofa bed which if it has bedding, has to be put away every day. There is not much space to put wet shoes with dirty snow away. Just a tray for two pairs which is not enough considering there is a lot of space for at least another tray. I didn't like that all room keys were stored by the staircase on the way to the rooms, not at the reception. Anyone could just walk in, grab a key and walk upstairs into the room. I therefore kept our room key with me whenever we went out. Having said that, this is definitely a nice hotel with great staff and great rooms and I would definitely come back, just not in the junior suite with our teenage children, but I would opt for two doubles.

Holiday Among Friends: Decelerate, savour the moment and enjoy life among friends surrounded by marvellous mountain scenery - that is holiday in the Hotel Rosatsch. The Hotel Rosatsch was built in 1914 and consists of the Main Building*** and the Residence****. The two connected buildings are situated in the centre of Pontresina and in the heart of the magnificent Engadine - only a few minutes away from St. Moritz. Guests can choose from 82 rooms and junior suites. All of them are equipped with everything you would expect for your holiday among friends. The Hotel Rosatsch also features one in-house restaurant and two cosy hotelbars. The newly renovated Spa ° Montana offers the following amenities: Swimming pool, whirlpool, steam bath, laconium, Finnish sauna, gym and an extensive array of massage treatments.
No comparison for what we booked. We did not get what was in our voucher declared and even after telling the reception no talk or change. During the stay we had a few happenings (like 3 repairs in the room) that were only done after calling 3 times!! and ending up the CEO even threatened me with a law firm. We will never go back to this hotel and definitely not recommend this.

A warm welcome to all skiing fans, alpine fanatics, climbing addicts and hiking aficionados. Visit our Berghaus Diavolezza at 3,000 metres above sea level and delight in one of the most beautiful panoramic views in the Swiss Eastern Alps. We can promise you heaven. We are looking forward to your visit!
The surrounding Bernina glaciers are already a huge selling point for the Berghaus on the Diavolezza peak but the full experience requires an overnight stay especially for the out of this world sunrise experience. As a hotel guest you have access to the jacuzzi surrounded by those gorgeous mountains which is an absolutely unforgettable experience. The rent is 29 Swiss francs an hour and even includes a lovely fruit selection. Most rooms in the hotel share communal toilets and showers but they also have some double rooms available with private quarters. The restaurant is also worth the visit even for daytrippers, especially for their cold cuts and cheese platter plus their polenta specialties. And the hot plums with cinnammon ice cream is an unmissable dessert. And the full of energy, helpful, sweet Sonja was just the cherry on the cake, she served the many tables effectively and with a constant smile on her face. She incorporated mountain hospitality at its best.

This review is not for the stay but for my booking experience with the hotel. I had booked this hotel on an online booking website as it met my expectations of free cancellation and modification, no pre-payment and payment at the hotel. This was important to me due to the current covid conditions, as situations change daily. To my shock, the hotel charged my credit card in full. Once I raised this with them, the amount was refunded to my card. However, this resulted in CHF 75 forex fees on my credit card. Again I raised this with the hotel and they replied saying we have credited this amount to your card. I believed them and waited for days but never received the amount. It is very sad that during these tough times, even on suffering losses due to covid, most hotels are extremely flexible when it comes to future bookings, this hotel chose to charge my card resulting in loss for me. I have booked and stayed in many hotels over the last few years but the booking experience with this hotel was very bad and insensitive.

Situated in the centre of Pontresina and at the heart of the holiday region Engadine St. Moritz, Hotel Saratz is elegant yet cosy, contemporary yet charming - and its blend of old and new exudes one thing above all: atmosphere. The modern way of living merges with the Engadine hotel tradition, grandeur with design and nature with architecture. True values for a holiday adventure in a magnificent setting. According to the latest rating of the "SonntagsZeitung" , Hotel Saratz has been ranked among the best family hotel in Switzerland.
the corner suite on the left hand side has by far the most outstanding mountain views. It's nothing short of elating to enjoy the views in the mornings. Overall the skiing holidays in this Hotel have been most enjoyable. The half board arrangement was great and so the overall service. We will be back for sure
