The hotel has a restaurant, indoor and outdoor seating areas, astronomical observatory, outdoor pool and 11 rooms with air conditioning and heating, divided into 7 geodesic domes and 4 observatory cabins. The domes have a private bathroom, a living room on the first floor and the main bed in the mezzanine, where you can open the roof and contemplate the sky. The cabins meet the same objective of observing the sky and have a private bathroom, living room and terraces in height.
It is a hostel, not a hotel
Reviewed By K8669HBfabiopDomos Elquis is not a hotel since does not provide services. Cleaning services is only once every two days. Restaurante and observatory are closed (while everything is opened outside the hotel). Breakfast is very basic (no fruit, cereals, etc...) and served from only one hour. Reception closes at 8pm and all facilities are closed after this time. Extremelly bad experience.

Cold nights and cold rooms
Reviewed By diazaraujoCold nights and cold rooms. The hotel is clearly not prepared for cold nights. We asked for heaters in our rooms ( 2 adults and 2 kids) and were promised they would install them while we were out for dinner. Nothing… Next day the sane thing, but we got the heater from the front office. We plugged it in and the whole electric grid went down… This place is not setup for cold nights…stay away

Gorgeous cabana with just enough of a kitchen for us to prepare some of our own meals, beautiful views of mountains and pool, art-filled grounds, 5 star service, delicious, filling breakfast made to order and delivered to your room with a kind smile. We happened to be here when covid hit (and we had to cancel the rest of our trip to get back to the states before the borders closed but that’s a whole ‘nother story!). Claudia was the hostess with the mostest - so helpful / kind - and even supplied us with face masks we were grateful to have on the plane ride home... even though back then we weren’t sure what to make of the whole covid thing! Couldn’t have imagined a better experience. (We stayed here in March 2020 but TA won’t let me select that date so just adding that caveat here on actual travel date.)

But not only the place has improved, the staff is the best, William, Diego (The head chef) and Roxana will make your staying unforgettable, very friendly and helpful. Also the new owner will go out of her way to make your life easier. Thank you... We will return !

The views, the swimming pool and hot tube were really nice, the stuff was super friendly (we even saw them introduced a solo passeger to a group of friends) and the restaurant is good. I particularly liked the breakfast, and it has been a long time since I liked an hotel breakfast. Also, I recommend the lavanda pisco sour.

Reviewed By RStelderStayed here for two nights in December with my daughter. Well designed facility in old house, good location close to central plaza, restaurants, etc. Clean and quiet place, ideal to rest and relax. Simple breakfast in the morning plus tea/coffee with cake in the evening.

Se encuentra armonía entre descanso, silencio, buena atención (Carly y Frida excelentes anfitrionas) y noches con un magnifico mar de estrellas. Días de cielos azules perfectos. An amazing place for couples that want rest and escape from the city's noise. Perfect to meditate and read the pending book you have in your nightstand cabinet. Carly and Frida gave us a perfect attention. Special mention to the core of this beatiful place; the blue sky and the spectacular nights of stars where you can see the Milky Way in all its glory.
