Hotel Piran was renovated for the 100 years anniversary in 2013 with an upgrade to 4*. The hotel design is based on the cultural heritage of the building with chic decoration. Hotel Piran offers you 15 spacious suites and 74 modern 4* rooms. After a day at the beach which is located at the doorsteps of the hotel lobby, you may enjoy a sundowner on the rooftop terrace and taste the Mediterranean culinary experience at the hotel restaurant.
The hotel has an awesome location directly at the sea. Parking is available at a garage 5 min drive away and there is a convenient shuttle available that runs back and forth. The rooms are spacious, but make sure to book one overlooking the sea, as the rooms facing the street can get a bit loud due to traffic below. We would have loved some extra items in the room (as it is a 4* hotel), like slippers and cottonbuds. The beds were ok, but it seems there is a protective sheet underneath the bed linen which is quite loud when turning around at night. Be careful with the body lotion which is provided in the bathroom if you have any skin allergies, as it contains alcohol and can give you a rash (did to me). Breakfast is magnificent and very tasty, would return only for having a breakfast there again.

This fall a new Bed & Breakfast opened its doors just a few steps from Piran’s Tartini square. It’s called MEMENTO and is a small architectural and design gem. MEMENTO offer’s 11 unique, stylishly furnished rooms, each with its own bathroom, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, cable TV and free minibar. Some rooms have a balcony with beautiful views of Piran’s roof top veduta and the Church of St. George.
The hotel is in the very center of Piran, 2 steps from the central square. The hotel is recent, very well designed, offers snacking on constant base to welcome guests in the lobby, and good rooms. The staff is very friendly, and you can count on them to council you the place to see & the place to eat in Piran Rooms are not very spacious but very comfy

Barbara Piran Beach Hotel & Spa is bathing in the greenest bay of the Slovenian cost. Located between the Adriatic Sea and the only lake in Slovenia where both fresh and salt water combine, it offers a unique starting point in all seasons of the year. Piran is only a few minutes’ walk by the sea. In summer guests can indulge in a spacious beach with deckchairs, sun umbrellas and cabanas, and in cooler months they warm up in Wellness Barbara.
Very nice ambience with a sea view, where you can hear the waves of the sea at night and where you get a pleasant feeling of homeliness due to the employees. With courtesy and helpfulness, they strive at every step to make the guest feel good. We will definitely be back again!

We are located on the shore of bay Fiesa, the cleanest bay in the northern part of Adriatic. Our Hotel is suitable for families with small children. The coast is clean and well maintained. Next to the hotel is a lot of green grass where children can play and a dive center for those who are into discovering our local reef. If you are up for a walk, you can go and visit Piran. It takes about five minutes on foot, or you can rent one of our scooters or bikes.
We stayed one night at this hotel on the seafront, 15 minutes walk along a coastal path into the town of Piran. Pleasant rooms with little balconies to sit on. Good breakfast which can be eaten inside or on the terrace overlooking the sea. We ate at the restaurant in the evening which was abit soulless (maybe needed music playing). Food was good though with big portions. The only downside was the campsite and beach bar next door. There was a large group who were drinking and partying till the early hours which kept us awake. We told reception who didn’t appear to be bothered.

ART HOTEL TARTINI is situated in the heart of Piran’s vivid scene but offers the intimacy and personal art approach of a tranquil boutique hotel. Our backyard and rooftop garden escape, connoisseur restaurant and cocktail bar and other charming amenities make us one of Piran’s most outstanding and one-of-a-kind accommodations.
Interesting interior and very friendly staff. Hotel is on amazing location on the Tartini square. My wife and I spent the night in the presidential suite with unbeatable view on the square and on the sea from a gorgeous and very spacious terrace on the top of the roof. Interesting to see many Ikea items incorporated in the artistic theme of the hotel. Hotel was refurbished and restyled in 2018, but will need investment in windows soon. Overall a very pleasant experience!

Only two big advantages - the possibility of parking on the border of the city, which is almost completely devoid of this possibility, and a view of the city from above. The rooms are poorer than the hostel, the breakfast is poor. The price is unrealistically overpriced. Inhospitable and unpleasant staff.

We stayed for 2 days in Guesthouse Opara and we were very satisfied. I have nothing bad to say about this accommodation, so I will point out the best things about this place and one important note about the location(read till the end): - Piran has a big problem with parking spaces, so if you're arriving with a car, I highly recommend booking this accommodation, because they offer private parking free of charge - The rooms looked new and very clean, fresh towels provided - The terrace is the best thing, very nice chill space with great view - The owner was really helpful and nice - There's a breakfast option, extra charge but worth it (7 euro) Important note: Location wise, for some people this place might not be so ideal. This guesthouse is not located next to a town square, but on a hill. If you want to go to the town centre, it is about 15 min walk downhill. Of course when you're returning, you have to go up the hill, which can be problematic for some people. Just a warning.

I only spent one night in Piran and chose Hotel Piranika because of the location close to the ocean and it was perfect. The rooms are newly renovated and very clean. The bathroom is very small but I can understand this in an old building like that. Airconditioning worked well, Wifi didn't. There is no staff there. I received an e-mail with my room number and door code. The e-mail also gave me the necessary information about parking and how to reach the hotel. I was very happy with the room, the location and the restaurant downstairs. I parked my car in Arze garage and it took me about 15-20 minutes to walk to the hotel. I very much liked the style of the room and the staircase. I enjoyed my stay.
