Reviewed By David IOK, this is a budget hotel. Do not be confused. But it delivers exactly what they promise. Good bed. Quiet room. It was very small but sufficient for the task. The shower was odd... clearly not well designed and had a issue with splash out damaging the wall, but it looks to have been recently repaired. The staff was helpful and there are a number of great dining options nearby. Now if you are here, you probably have to be... this is not a real tourist area and is NOT even close to the fun areas of BA. But if you have to be here for business and need a cheap place to crash... you found it.

A good price for what you get
Reviewed By xochitlIts location is not the nicest but it is close to a big shopping mall and a well known hospital. Clean and comfortable with great services like climatized swimming pool and gym. Prices include a continental breakfast served at your room. Room are spacious and comfirtable and include a small kitchenette with no stove.

Reviewed By Harm_D_052015Very nice small hotel beside highway to Pilar. Once in the garden of the hotel you feel like miles away from the city. The rooms are nice, big and clean. The pool is small but big enough to drink a relaxing wine with your feet in the water. It's relatively cheap compare to the big chain hotels in Pilar. The food is simple but good. In the surroundings of the hotel is nothing so you always need a car or taxi. Or just stay in the hotel :)

It have 1 bedroom , 1 bathroom , 1 kitchenette , 1 dining room , nice exterior deck , grill , swimming pool , breakfast , air conditioning , hothouse, tv . It???s ideal for people who are looking for peaceful and special place very close to Bs. As. (1 hour).

A lot left to be a top hotel as they sell themselves
Reviewed By rabbitreyNice venue! Can’t deny that. Amazing pool and spaces, the indoor pool is amazing too. Service is not that great though. Also, what type of hotel doesn’t even have an iron, counting of it’s a convention center and the week I was there at least 4 different companies were staying. The coffee maker in my room was disgusting, seems like no one used it in years which is cool... but cleaning it is a must.

Very nice hotel but wrong location

But the website photos are quite deceiving… when you see the pic with the room window showing a beautiful green space you’ll assume this a relaxing spot. It is not. The hotel is surrounded by very busy highways and railways with busy suburban trains so if you open your windows you will hear tremendous noise. So basically the worst part of this hotel is its location. The rooftop pool is quite small. Otherwise, the spa was very good and, like mentioned above, super nice staff!! Breakfast was good. We also had dinner here and it was very good. Clean and comfortable.

Sheraton Pilar falls short
Reviewed By LeorMarguiI spent 4 nights at the Sheraton Pilar over the Christmas holidays. I was visiting friends in Pilar who had in the past been very happy with this hotel. At first glance the grounds looked lovely, given the hotels nondescript location next to an expressway. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area lovely. Unfortunately, as you stay at this place you realize that COVID 19 has taken its toll. It is an badly need of capital improvements from refurbishing the rooms, repairing plumbing fixtures, changing the furniture in the common areas to resurfacing the tennis court. For instance, I had the maintenance replace over 10 lightbulbs in my room. They very willingly and quickly did it but it is amazing that nobody had it inspected the room ever to see that they were all out. The shower door was off kilter and scraped the tiles in the bathroom. No one had thought to fix this either. The windows need serious replacing as they do not provide proper sound insulation, particularly the one window that opens. This becomes very important when you read the rest of my review. There were 2 air conditioning units in the one-bedroom suite I had. Unfortunately one of them kept breaking down and was fixed twice. After the second time, I returned to my room where the air conditioning unit was making a burning smell. Now there was a heatwave going on but I would have thought that after 2 times they could get the unit fixed. The buffet breakfasts were quite frankly awful. It was almost impossible to even get natural yogurt and the rest of the breakfast was virtually inedible. Other than the fruit. Staff were very nice and very helpful so I have no complaints in that regard. However I got woken up every night either late at night or early in the morning because of people partying in the rooms or one morning the hotel even allowed a group of party people to go party in the convention area and leave the doors open at 6 AM in the morning. Not very respectful of the other guests. The final straw was the fact that the hotel arranged a private function called Meet Up , on Boxing Day. This was a function where the promoters basically took over the entire grounds so that the guests were not allowed to use the grounds or the pool. But moreover, this event was some type of singles gathering with hundreds of people dressed in white and noise from the speakers that could be heard while across the city. I should have clued in when we were the only people that seem to be left in the hotel by Sunday afternoon where had been otherwise full. When I complained to the management about the noise and the lack of the facilities and the potential for no sleep that night, yet again,, management offered me a room on the other side of the grounds where they believed it would be quieter in case the party did not end at 11 PM. It was almost laughable because the sounds coming from the speakers could be heard miles away. That no one thought to perhaps mention that to me that this event was coming up that I should perhaps find another hotel that day was unforgivable. I even spoke to the hotel reception the night before to reduce my stay from 5 days to 4 days at which time it would have been ideal for them to tell me that perhaps I should shorten it to 3 days. But alas no one had the foresight to do that. The hotel, after a little prodding, did not charge me for my last night but that was of little consequence. Had I known of this event, I would have checked out early and gone elsewhere. Clearly Covid 19 has taken its toll. It will take a lot to get this hotel back into the top tier of hotel establishments. And a proper apology from the hotel, beyond comping me for one night, would still be appropriate.
