Reviewed By the-real-c-realIf you’re not already speechless while arriving in Pigna, you will be when you enter your room at La Casa Rosa. This is for real ‘a room with a view’! And then the furniture, the details, the colours. And last but nog least: the breakfast. Thanx to Marisa for a wonderful stay. It was one of the best we had.

Sul Ponte is an Italian bar that reflects the facets of Pigna’s cultural and social life: older men playing cards, children eating ice-cream and young girls exchanging the latest gossip. And all feel comfortable in this classical styled bar; with a twist. The bed & breakfast offers stylish rooms. Most of them have a spectacular view over the river Nervia. From here you can easily start your day trip into the mountains and do some trekking. Or you can just hop on the bus and spend your day at the sea-side.

Reviewed By Alicja_costamThe apartment is situated in mountains, 5 km from Pigna. A view from the property is amazing! It is incredible that you can live for a while in such a place. The hosts are very helpful, kind and open. We came to Pigna by bus so they pick up us to the property by their car. Moreover whenever we wanted to go down to the village or back from the village they were open to pick up us. You may not beliefe but they also gave us a short tour to show us their favourite place at a river! They are really lovely!! The hosts worked on the farm during our stay so the agroturistic way of handling the property is authentic. We could eat their strawberries from the garden and cherries right from the tree. Meantime we had a great relax in jacuzzi with a glass of wine and amazing mountain view... The agroturism specialises in olives so you need to try their olive oil and other products made on the farm - you will not regret it! We will definitelly back there soon! Thank you!

La Casa di Giacomo is situated in a very quiet location in the country, with spectacular views of Maritime Alps,our charming BnB that is nestled in the foothills of the Valle Nervia, Liguria.We are in a fantastic part of the world being surrounded by the beauty and peace of this natural area yet in easy reach to cosmopolitan towns like Monte Carlo and San Remo (which are only a 40 minute drive away) and all the other amazing Italian and French towns dotted along the rivieras.

Reviewed By EnglishShandrisseFor: Location. Up a tiny road, well out of the way. Dario speaks a number of languages quite well and is friendly. Shower ok. Wifi good. Against: Inflexible booking times. Cash only. Room in need of attention in both maintenance and co-ordination (at this price!) No practical bedside tables. Bathroom door broken and had it worked, very poor at sound insulation so any modesty is lost. Shower door just not there. Missing! Only one usable power socket. Breakfast was disorganised and guests helping themselves from the fridge as the host frequently went missing. Take ear plugs. Rooms are echo-ee and voices can be heard till the wee small hours.

Reviewed By Olaf NWhat a beautiful place! And even greater hosts! If you stay here, you never want to leave. Valerie and Vilmo will welcome you at a great room in this beautiful house. Beautiful in the way it looks, the garden and there patio and beautiful in the persons who the are! This is hosting to the max. The room is large, bright and clean with a nice roomy bathroom with toilet, bidet, sink with cabinets and a shower, all clean, reasonable new and in great condition. The room has a large balcony with spectaculair views. But just come for Valerie and Vilmo, they're enough reason.

Kleiner, sehr privater Luxus
Reviewed By Kobayashi-manWir waren auf der Suche nach einem kleinen Resort mit Pool und getrennten Zimmern für die Kinder. Frühstück war ein muss. Für 8 Tage haben wir im Casa Legna pure Erholung gefunden. Der Poolbereich war trotz Vollbelegung (8 Lodges, 2 Häuser) wenig frequentiert. Die Lodge selbst bot uns 2 getrennte Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und zwei Einzelbetten. Das Wohnzimmer mit ausreichend ausgestatteter Küche (Kühlschrank, Geschirrspüler und Backofen) war gemütlich und die Kids konnten mit französischen Bekanntschaften EM Finale anschauen. Jeden Morgen um 9.00 Frühstück auf die Terrasse serviert, sehr angenehm. Fantastische die kleine Butan-Gas Plancha von CampingGaz auf der Terrasse. Damit haben wir 3 wunderbare Seafoodabende im Resort verbracht. In unmittelbarer Umgebung der tolle Strand von Algajola mit vielen Restaurants (A. Rotta ganz am Ende war fein). Auch der Pizzatruck Le Pizz ist praktisch. Leider gab es ein Problem mit TUI und der Reservierung im Resort. Wir hatten Glück, dass wir uns durchsetzen konnten und nicht weggewiesen wurden. Eine Schweizer Familie hatte am Ende der Woche wohl ein sehr ähnliches Erlebnis und musste auf 3 Tage Aufenthalt verzichten. Die Chefin spricht oder will kein Englisch sprechen. Mutter und Schwester aus Paris waren um etliches freundlicher. In Summe haben wir aber massiv die Herzlichkeit vermisst. Sicherheitshalber Aufenthalt direkt bestätigen um unliebsame Überraschungen zu vermeiden.

But the food looks just great. Unfortunately - I wanted only a green salad with tomatoes (€ 11.50) - having just come down from a lengthy hike across the mountain! A rather grumpy lady (probably the manager) accepted the order. A youngish waiter then brought me a mixed salad - with all sorts of stuff. When I pointed out that I had ordered something different - he gave me a rude response - and walked off. So - beware: if you don't order a pricey meal - you may just feel the wrath of management and staff alike. In spite of the beautiful and superb location - I won't be back.
