From the accurately restored rural stone house, guess can enjoy not only the view of surrounding fields and hills, but also the view of mountains as Gran Sasso and Maiella. It is the ideal place to discover Abruzzo, its traditions, history, flavours .There are wellappointed bedrooms, a shop featuring local, mostly home grown food, a restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and typical Abruzzo dishes. Guests can enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside sipping coffee, teas of all varieties and tasting sweet or salty snacks. It is possible to enjoy guided nature walks, to visit many little towns and to share according to the season the activities that are linked to food production : olive picking, the making of oil, tomatoe's sauce, etc..
Excellent place, prime example of the great concept that Agriturimos are. Stayed with family in the family room, very large, comfortable, clean and stunning view all around. Really delicious food, creative and with surprinsingly many veggies. You'll hardly ever find a bad meal in Italy, but the food stood out for me. The pool obviously is a welcome hangout in the summer heat for kids and adults alike. If I would have to name one improvement, I'd say provide some more information about regional activities, good restaurants and local wine/cheese/meat producers thst do tastings. And perhaps a mozzie net so you can leave the windows open at night. We would love to come back here one day when all the Corona troubles are behind us. Hang on guys!

The Abruzzo is a region of outstanding natural beauty in Italy and shouldn't be missed. We were traveling in our motorhome and headed for the mountains in the hope of finding somewhere to stay. Strangely there are very few camping sites away from the coast and most are closed after middle of September. On the off chance we turned up at Anna's agriturismo B and B. She couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating. She allowed us to pitch our van, gave us water, electricity and even an inside shower. We had a delicious home cooked 5 course dinner with wine.We spent a very happy couple of days, walking the dog in outstanding scenery. Anna and her family were very friendly and exceptional hosts. As we didn't stay in the house I am unable to comment but from what I saw the rooms looked clean but fairly basic.

Our farm is located in the hilly foothills, at an altitude of about 400 m in the National Park of Gran Sasso. Besides offering more green is dotatodi pool set within an olive grove and plenty of space to walk around and eat outside our specialties. The accommodation consists of two buildings, one of which is an old building dating back to 800 typical type of farming made of stone and brick structure covered with oak beams and terracotta tiles, recently restructured maintaining all the features, which are are also two rooms each equipped with air conditioning, TV and en suite bathroom. Another building of more recent construction, but always born as a farmhouse, the ground floor houses the dining room with a panoramic view and a fireplace to brighten the winter evenings. On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms, all with en suite facilities, two of which open onto a large terrace, are equipped with TV and furnished with period furniture.
this was a short notice booking which took the hosts by surprise. After a little delay our booking was located. Due to the short notice there was no heating on in the room we stayed however this was quickly rectified and within and few minutes the radiators were toasty. The room was nice and clean with a very nice ensuit bathroom. Shower was one of the best of the week. I am sure this place would be fantastic in season when you would have opportunity to taste their food etc. Very pleasant host who spoke a little english. Would definitely return.

A charming agriturismo with a beautiful view from the pool. The half-board meal is recommended. It is also possible to use the pool or the restaurant even if you are not staying at the agriturismo. A service very used by the locals. The olive oil produced at the site is very tasty.

I recently spent a week in Penne, Italy and stayed at the Bettina Bed & Breakfast. It was very comfortable, clean and convenient. It is located in the historic part of Penne, so I could walk everywhere. My room overlooked the valley and was great! The owners, Lina and Danile Fornarola are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is up the street at the Bar Centrale and you haven't lived until you tried one of their warm croissants, stuffed with chocolate, and a cappuccino! Overall, I would highly recommend Bettina Bed & Breakfast for anyone traveling to or staying in Penne.
