Brilliant hotel (slightly late review)
Reviewed By Pswg13I visited here in June 2018 for dinner with my husband (I’ve only just set up a trip advisor account so the review is slightly late...). The food was absolutely fantastic, it was so delicious and made our evening really special. The quality and presentation was stunning and made us want to keep eating. If I came back to Duras this place would be first on my list.

What a week!
Reviewed By 427sandrinefWe had a blissful week at Hank's and Cindy's. We couldn't have wished for nicer hosts (not to mention their gorgeous dogs). From start to finish, we were made to feel like it was our home: the place was charming, the surroundings absolutely stunning and they managed the perfect balance of being present and helpful whilst giving us the privacy we needed as we were working remotely. It was clear to see what a labour of love the place has been. It was the most idyllic week. We'll be back!

Reviewed By briana24500Reading previous reviews, it sounds really good. Just stayed for 3 nights because it was the only place open in that area. I would not reccomend this campsite to anyone. In my opinion it looks like the owners are going broke. The site is completely neglected. I did get electric and water. I certainly would not want to use the toilets or showers. There is a guy who took my money, but I don't think he works there. Avoid at all cost.

confirmed booking, but no one there
Reviewed By serendipitysydneyWe arrived to the B&B which is located in a scenic and lovely part of the countryside (please note though that google maps does not give the correct location, it is about another 1 km away). Unfortunately though, even though we had a confirmed booking the owner was away. We arrived at 530pm, had a chat to one of his friends that was just by luck on his property and left after 15 minutes when he could not be reached on his mobile phone and the room had not been made up. Based on what we saw, it could have been a nice stay. What we couldn't believe though is that around an hour later we received an email telling us that the room was now ready and if we didn't go back we would be charged a cancellation fee. After having to argue for more than 30 minutes the cancellation fee was waved. Our advice is that if you get a confirmation ensure you ring up and ensure the owner will be there and not in Bordeaux.

Le Petit Coup - a charming 18th century farmhouse situated in the beautiful rolling countryside where the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne meet. We run Gite / Holiday home & Chambre/Table d'Hotes / B&B near Duras, not far from Bergerac, and in the other direction - Bordeaux! There is also a 'Shabby Chic' shop and workshop on site.
A perfect getaway
Reviewed By clare912Beautifully appointed room, with amazing views over the countryside. Peaceful and relaxing. Caroline is friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had good pressure, just leave to run a little while to allow the hot water through. Original beams and prune trays on a white background, really add authenticity to this property. We loved our stay. Thank you Caroline

Only 10 minutes from the Dordogne with it's famous cities like Bergerac and Perigueux. But also Sarlat, it's castles like Monbazillac and Bonaguil and much, much more. Our region is also known as "French Tuscany" we'll hope you'll come over to find out why! We offer you hospitality, space, tranquility, privacy and a wonderful stay! Maison à votre Santé is a 150 year old renovated farmhouse, situated on a small hill with beautiful views across the valley towards the château de Duras. When you're having dinner on the terrace, enjoying your privacy, just having a relaxing time, and so on, we think that " Maison à votre Santé " is less suitable for children. You want to start the day with a fantastic breakfast? A wonderful dinner with a nice glass of wine on the terrace? Champagne breakfast? It's up to you. Looking forward in welcoming you!
Welcoming B&B In lovely location
Reviewed By mikeo229We stayed for a week and I cannot praise Caroline and Laurens enough for making our stay so pleasant despite the fact that we were in France to clear out an old house not visited for 3 years. Coming back each evening from our days labour we had the pleasure of their company and often Laurens cooking to lift our spirits. The room was clean, spacious, with a nice en suite shower room and a very comfortable bed. Breakfasts were excellent with fresh fruit from the garden, eggs, pastries and more. The Dinners we had we’re also very good and accompanied by lovely wines from Laurens great list of local wines. There is a great courtyard where we ate outside on sunny days and a lovely pool and gardens with lots of seating areas. Most of all, however, we just enjoyed our hosts company; we will come back. Thank you Caroline and Laurens!

Séjour tres agréable en Famille
Reviewed By Damien RNous avons passé un séjour très reposant en famille (2 adultes et 2 enfants). Le cadre est magnifique, la piscine naturelle est splendide ?, des nénuphars, roseaux et fleurs de Lotus en déco. La déco en meubles anciens est tres chouette. Dans des bâtiments anciens rénovés avec goût, où les murs epais permettent de garder la fraîcheur (il faisait plus de 35°C durant notre séjour). La nature et les animaux sont de bonnes compagnie. Accepté avec notre Chien ce qui est un vrai plus. Au milieu des vignobles de Duras. Accueil chaleureux, on nous a proposé de belles découvertes au alentours. Nous avons trouvé notre destination pour l'été prochain... A découvrir et re-découvrir... Je recommande.
