Reviewed By 343lukahWe stayed at Black Mamba during a trip in 2015. We always meant to leave a review but somehow never did. Tonight, we came across an old receipt, which lead as to review it now. Our stay at Black Mamba was memorable. We ate great pizza, and spent the best night of our trip in the little cosy room under the roof after chatting with the very nice lady which owned the place. We highly recommend the place!

In our Holiday Village you can expect a breathtaking panorama view of the mountains in Paul,Santo Antao. 6 bungalows, each with 2 rooms and a private terrace, a total of 12 rooms, Family room for 3-4 persons. Each room with private bathroom. Restaurant: local specialties and international cuisine. Outdoor swimming pool (8x4m) with spring water and musical performances.

Reviewed By khaliyaneiCasa Maracuja is such a unique place to stay. We drove our own vehicle and it was a little tricky to find but that's probably because tourists usually hire drivers in Santo Antao due to the dizzying heights and turns on the mountain road. We loved the drive though so if you're confident, definitely get your own vehicle. Casa Maracuja is situated in a valley and it feels paradise - huge plants, amazing hikes, lovely people. The accommodation is quite basic but clean and well thought out - we stayed in January so it was pretty cold in the evening and at night but they provide extra blankets. Still, if you're going to Santo Antao in January, bring warm clothes! Meals in the restaurant were sociable and fun and the food was generally delicious - I still miss the pudim with passionfruit sauce. Also the local grog is great! Would highly recommend Casa Maracuja - Netty and all the staff were very helpful and nice, the walks were great, food was fab and you can't beat the location. Wifi didn't really work in the rooms but it was nice to switch off to be honest!

Tienne Del Mar is located in the valley of Paul, right next to the Atlantic Ocean. They offer luxurious rooms with sea- and mountainside view, a wonderful restaurant close to a swimming pool, local products and a relaxing atmosphere. They also have their own biological garden where most of the ingredients come from and they offer guided tours on the island.
Excellent Hotel and service!! Excellent view! By far the best hotel in Santo Antão!
Reviewed By Yves EThe staff is super friendly and used to deal with foreigners (by far not the case in other places in CV) The cook is super talented, and the card is very diversified! The view is excellent! Absolutely no negative things to say!
