Lovely location On first impressions we felt it was a little rough round the edges but to be honest it had a relaxed charm ( in a good way) that grew on us , We really warm to this hotel it was memorable for all the right reasons. the staff were amazing from the people that made up the rooms to the reception staff they couldn’t be more helpful And welcoming. The breakfast was great we were half-board and the dinner service was very very good three course evening meals and the buffets were faultless. We had a mountain view which was stunning ! This is practically on the doorstep of the ski centre and the slopes just a short walk where there are lockers which saves you bringing your skis back to the hotel every day. In terms of skiing I’ve seen that a couple of people have complained. In fairness this is a beginners paradise our children enjoyed the ski school and we got really good tuition from the instructors. It’s mainly green and red runs. Not a great deal of variety although there are some black runs across the valley a short bus ride away. If you’re learning to ski this is your place or if you’re a Newby to skiing. Be careful if you wear your ski boots in the foyer of the hotel in the week we were there I saw quite a few people fall .

Bergo Hotell is located in the heart of Beitostolen. Bergo Hotel has a unique, warm, pleasant and romantic atmosphere. The interiors echo the Valdres tradition and are adorned with works by local artists. The hotel has 30 rooms. All the rooms were refurnished in autumn 2016, including the bathrooms. Family rooms have a double bed, which can also be made into twin beds, plus a seating area with a comfortable sofa bedbar and dance restaurant. Smart bathrooms with shower bath/toilet. With apartments and cabins of various sizes, in addition to the usual guest rooms, this is a hotel with soul. The hotel offers the Svingen Pub, with Beitostolen's hottest apres-ski, the bare KOS restaurant, for continental a la carte dining and the Jegersalen Distances to: Ski lift: 100 m Ski slopes: 100 m Grocery Store: 50 m Town Centre: 0 m
Stayed here only for one night thankfully, passing through Beitostølen. We got a room on the other side of the street, in worn down building. My room was directly above the Peppes pizza and their terrace, creating a lot of noise quite late. The room was quite small and cramped, not very good lighting either. All tough they had put in an extra floor lamp, but not connected and not sockets anywhere close. The entrance was quite weird too, with a big bean going right across the hallway at the height of my forehead.

Dear visitor! In summer 2020 Bygdin Høifieldshotel is open from 19 June to 4 October. We are taking safety measures in order to protect both our guests and our emloyees. Stay healthy!
I haven't stayed there, just stopped for food (dinner) while crossing the mountains which was a big mistake. So I can't review the hotel itself, but avoid stopping for a meal at all costs. It used to be good several years ago but has declined awfully since. Rømmegrøt and gulasj were almost uneatable.

Spacious room, big kitchen area in our apartment. Excellent sleep quality..peacful and quiet. Room was a bit dated, but very clean. All the basic utensils to cook up meals. One full and one half bath. Being from out of the country..had to pay extra for bedding and towels..which a significant added expense

This place was epic! The accommodation is extremely comfortable and cozy, the food is absolutely delicious (!!), the hosts super friendly and kind and the location ideal. We were looking for somewhere to relax, hike, eat well and unwind, and Herangtunet offered exactly that. Marco and his team are awesome. Oh and the sauna and hot tub were a total hit! Would go back, no, WILL go back for sure!

Beitostolen is one of the most beautiful touristplaces both in summer and winter. Bitigrenda cabins are within walkingdistance to skilifts, tracks, activity center, shopping and restaurants (700 m). Nice and cosy, well equiped cabins with 6-24 beds.
Jeg og mine to barn på 8 og 11 trengte overnatting før vi skulle bestige Bitihorn. For 1200kr fikk vi ei flott og moderne hytte, med alt vi trengte og litt til! Her kommer vi tilbake, garantert! Kort vei til spisesteder, aktiviteter og butikker. Samtidig ett rolig område. Enkel innsjekk og utsjekk.

All our cabins and apartements are well equipped. They are of various sizes and have a total capacity of 100 persons. All our units have cable TV and a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator. Our guests have access to sauna, steam sauna, solarium and massage chair. Contact us upon arrival. We also have minigolf, swings, slides and trampoline.
Nice views of the mountains from the veranda, although also the camping grounds with the snowed down campers. Appartments fairly well equipped with a dishwasher, a fridge, a small freezer and electric stoves that keeps you warm. The bathroom had seen better days, but the floor was warm. By the way, beware of the frying pan, the handle gets as hot as the pan!! It was nice enough the first night, but then the vacant flat next door became filled up, and guess if we could hear them. Had the jokes been better we could have laughed with them. It was disturbing as .... Ski tracks were prepped, but due to the warm spell followed by freezing temps they were hard and icy. Nature is impressive. Will take a driveby in the summer. Never stay here again though.
