Visited casa for a 5day, 4 nights stint As usual they are always welcoming and it was nice to be close to the clean sea again. We came in early but we still got a room. Then we entered our room... nicely put together but the AC was tempramental thus we got a new room. First day the meal was lovely...then the Eid Crowd came ans everything went downhill for 2 days. My pork meal was served without mustard and I was given a mushroom sauce which I paid for. My friend was given a wok meal without the Chinese veretemelli (noodles) and was passed off as the real thing till we made a fuss...Thank Goodness we had had the meal before.. the meals are mideocre at best.. the rooms still have doors with locks not so good. If not for the sea and the people we know...Mr Jack, Mr Gee, Bruno etc... not sure I would want to come back... but alas its still a place or management should try harder to make it work... Let's not talk about the Internet...that is like a old woman on walking sticks

When I got dropped off at this hotel I was at first convinced it was abandoned. It has that look. I wandered around pas the empty outdoor eating area and the indoor banquet room, the empty pool and the courtyard, I seemed to be the only person there. But eventually a guy showed up (napping possible) and showed me to my room. A tiny room with a private bathroom and nice linens but very small and only with one barred and tiny window up near the ceiling, prison style. The room was fine for my purposes. The staff were really nice and accommodating and made me delicious vegetarian dinners on request. The place was just so empty and it is so large, so it feels weird. A bonus though is that it is right on the highway so coming and going to other destinations was super easy. Also, the hotel is a nice walk to the main part of the town and all the touristy sights. (You can walk on the highway, but there is a much nicer walk on small occasionally paved backroads. If there was a more charming place that was more in town and was similar in price, I would opt for somewhere more charming, but this place was fine, especially for a short visit.
