Reviewed By andretappStaff very polite, a huge building full of bright led where you can have a very nice stay. Inside you can find a good restaurant and bar but pay attention to the closing time, you are in Germany. Breakfast is awesome. To sum up, I recommend this hotel.

The ladyboss and beds aren't a plus
Reviewed By MissChantalUpon arrival we had no parkingspace available. Check-in lady was very friendly. She told me I hadn't paid and have to pay upon check-in. I told her, I paid with Booking.com and gave the proof. I also told her I only had to pay for the dog still. She told me she would hand it over to the bosslady and it would be okay. They didn't check our Covid Passport. We went to our room, that was very tiny, but clean. Bathroom was modern and also very small. If you have a lot and thick hair, be very patient. The pressure isn't all that. We had parking view and some noise of the parking. We ate at the restaurant. It was very tasteful German food. Ladies were again very friendly. The bed was horror. I had to find a comfortable spot in the hole that was created by previous guests. I can tell you I had a very bad sleep. Next morning, we ent down for breakfast. the hallway isn't to spacious, so I stepped aside because there were people on the check-in. Someone said to me 'You wait there' in a unfriendly way. I wasn't planning on going anywhere lady. So I met the bosslady. We it was our turn she said to me 'You didn't pay your room'. I became a bit aggravated and told here 'Yes, I did pay the room on August 9th and gave the proof yesterday' After a few minutes she said she found but I have to pay for the dog. I told her I KNOW I have to pay for the dog. Breakfast was very simple, you had to point out which bread you wanted en had to follow a specific way (which no one did). On check-out, I still had to pay for the dog, so I want to the bureau where the bosslady saw me and had me waiting for 10 minutes because her kitchen conversation was more interesting then the stupid 9 euros for the dog. The bed and bosslady spoiled the stay for us. When passing through in the coming years, we will find another place to stay.

The Good, the Bad and The Ugly (smoking)
Reviewed By DavidB21826The Good (most of all): 1. Outstanding staff. From the front desk to the restaurant, everyone was pleasant and good at what they did. The property is immaculately clean, too. 2. The breakfast buffet was amazing. 3. The hiking trails and views are breathtaking (in both meanings)! 4. Delightful nooks and crannies to discover throughout a beautifully decorated Bavarian hotel. 5. House cats! 6. Great spa for massages and facials. The Bad 1. The design of the balconies/porches off of each room ... there is no partition between neighbors which results in zero privacy on porch. Moreover, neighboring guests could look into our room from their balconies. This would easily be remedied by placing privacy barriers between each porch. This would also help with the Ugly (below). The Ugly Smokers. We would have had a lovely view from our balcony and lovely fresh air from the mountains in our room. However, a chain-smoking couple next door blew smoke onto our porch and into our room at all hours of the day and night. This hotel would do well to completely ban smoking on their grounds. The few guests they might lose would more than be made up by healthy guests flocking to a smoke-free resort.

A friendly hotel
Reviewed By Charles MStayed six days in Bernhard's Hotel in the beautiful town of Oberaudorf. The rooms were clean and relatively large with all standard amenities. One suggestion: A coffee and tea making facilities would make all the difference. The breakfast is standard but the choice is varied. We were impressed with the hospitality of the staff who were ready to go out of their way to satisfy the guests. They even picked us up from the train station and helped us with our luggage. Cosy little family run guesthouse
Reviewed By PathManSloughMy wife and I stayed one night here while touring the Alpenstrasse. The hotel is set in the centre of a very small town, with private parking to the rear. The room itself was cosy, but the bed wasn't the most comfortable (thin mattress and squeeky), and bathroom was also very small but functional. There was a balcony, but access could only be gained by entering the main corridor. Breakfast was excellent. The landlord asked us if we wanted coffee or tea and he brought us a fresh pot of boiling water so we could make our own tea (PG Tips of course!). A good spread was available to eat & drink and the clientelle seemed very friendly (Morgen! to all on entering the breakfast room).

The holiday apartments for 1 to 6 people for families wit hchildren and vacationists of all ages are located in the picturesque Inn valley at the edge of a forest. Each of the completely furnished, handicapped accessible apartments with 1 to 3 rooms has its own parking lot. Each individually furnished apartment has a living room, bed rooms with two to four beds, a completely equipped and secluded kitchen, a bathroom and a balcony or terrace, many of them with mountain views.
Nice apartment with friendly host
Reviewed By Francis BLike: Super friendly staff. Upon arrival we could access the apartement directly. Afterwards we got extra information about the facilities (swimming pool, ...) and places to see in the neighbourhood. Apartment is equipped with all you need (including dishwasher) and plenty of gear to cook etc... Since we were there when COVID measures were active, all was done to have a safe stay. Hand gel is available, sauna and swimming pool has to be hourly booked in order to manage the crowd (max 8 people in the pool, most of the time we were alone in the pool with our family of 4). You can have your bread delivered in the morning, but I preferred to have a nice 10min morning walk to the bakery. The apartments are located in quiet neighbourhood and we had a balcony with mountain view. You can choose to park your car in the underground or in the outdoor parking lot. Dislike The 2zimmer apartment has a sleep/sofa bed for the children. It doesn't include a real slatted frame so it was pretty hard to sleep on it. When I spoke about it with the staff, they admitted and said they were looking for a thicker mattress for visitors to come...

Reviewed By arriba2015wishing good luck to Herr und Frau Wolf, the new management team. This was our tenth time in oberaudorf and we found the appartments as well kept and looked after as we are used to. Having arrived with a large family and babies we had 5 apartments and all was as expected. We found a lot of support from the management and will be back again.

Reviewed By Dave HBooked this place because it was in Oberaudorf, where I wanted to stay, looked good on the booking website and because it was within my expenses budget. What a delightful surprise! Very nice modern interior with a quaint traditional exterior and very comfortable clean rooms. Bathroom has a powerful and large shower. Grounds surrounding the hotel a very nice with some great seating areas. Breakfast is of a very high standard, with the usual continental meats and fruit but, in my opinion, a superior selection to the average. Located next to a large stream or small river (take your choice) that has delightful walks along its banks. Fantastic for nature lovers and gives a very tranquil aspect as you can enjoy the sound of the water and the multitude of birds from your balcony or bed. Also has some great alpine views. No restaurant but plenty within easy 10-20 minute walk, so you can work up an appetite or walk off a meal. Plenty of communal areas and a TV room/coffee lounge. Beer and drinks are available and appear to be reasonably priced (I haven't had any yet). Bottle of water in the room everyday. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Looking forward to enjoying the next two weeks and, despite this being a business trip, going home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Budget price I am finding hard to believe considering the quality of the place.
