Amazing hospitality
Reviewed By 129katharinalWe did not stay at the hotel but ended up renting a motorbike for two and a bicycle for one day with them. The lady at the reception is super helpful and friendly, she is lovely. The prices were pretty good and we enjoyed the talks with the receptionist. Also she booked us the bus ticket to Hue, which was way cheaper than any other hostel or website offered and she made sure we would get the bus and helped us with our luggage. The hotel in total seemed like a very nice and welcoming place, especially because they had a big dinner with the staff and friends every evening we went there.

Clean place but with terrible dinner and very noisy place
Reviewed By verwegvanhuisThe room was great! It was clean, nice beds, great pillows, spacious shower. We loved that the pool was right in front of the bungalow with a lot of sunbeds and umbrellas. The place can be so peaceful if everyone pays attention to each other, but that didn't happen. The staff even allowed the noisy behavior of other guests. In the evening the Vietnamese guests did some extremely loud karaoke, in the morning people were already in the pool and screaming from 6 am onwards. So, where we hoped to have some quiet and relaxing time, we were forced to stay in our room as the Vietnamese took over the whole place. Furthermore, the dinner was not great. Once they prepared our dishes. They came to us to tell us that some dishes were not available. As we are vegetarians there were no other options left for us. Also, we ordered a type of veggies and got completely something else plus we ordered a type of bread and again completely something else. They should have let us know upfront, then we could have decided what we wanted to do. Stay in or go out. Would have definitely opted to go out as we ended up overpaying for morning glory, white rice, and egg. In town there would have been more and cheaper options.

Reviewed By Hawkins1997This place is terrible. Derelict, dirty, old and unmaintained. The location is great and surrounded by nice scenery but that’s the only thing I can say. We had to move rooms 3 times due to rats. We were then forced to move into a room with no running water at all so had to walk to the other side of the premises to go to the toilet or have a shower and with no lights I had to use a torch. The breakfast was atrocious. The swimming pool was ice cold and very dirty, also no where to sit / lay next to it. The country paths and road leading towards the property have no lighting either so driving a motorbike back in the pitch black on tiny gravel roads is not enjoyable. Mosquitos and bugs everywhere (to be expected). Never ever ever would I stay here again. Couldn’t wait to leave!!!

Lovely stay with lovely people
Reviewed By cristinarN7237LTThis family really welcomed us in Tam coc, came to pick us up, fed us wonderful dinner (totally worth it to eat there), got us the bus tickets even if it's very difficult at this time of the year for the Vietnamese New Year. It's not right at the center but for this area you need a motorbike to move around, which we also rented there and it's just next to a cheap gas station. Also have us bikes for free and breakfast!

Reviewed By V3723UZ_Were looking for quite place after escaping noisy and crowded Hanoi and this homestay was the perfect choice! Very close (but not too close) to Tam Coc and all bars/cafes/shops. Host family is very polite, super friendly and helpful!..and nice little doggy will meet you every morning, when going to have delicious breakfast;)

Reviewed By eve_henningerThe family owners were very kind and helpful along the way. We rented both bicycles and motorbikes from them, they suggested where to go and how to get there and they called us a taxi back to the train station. Standard room, nice and clean, communal bathroom and a sweet open area with seats and views upstairs to relax. I'm definitely glad we decided to stay in the Tam Con area rather than the Ninh Binh town centre itself. It made it more relaxing and quicker to ride to some beautiful spots. However, if you're looking to stay close enough walking distance to the core of Tam Coc without needing to rent bikes, you may want to stay a little closer. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend :)
