Disappointing
Reviewed By michaelawP586EIWe really looked forward to our stay at the Residence of this hotel. We chose a slighly hoger priced room as we wanted a bit of luxury. To be fair the room was absolutely gorgeous. It a passiv building which means it is energy neutral. Unfortunately the room was very warm. We had to use the fan that was provided but even then we couldn’t use the bedding as it was still very hot. The booking process was not effortless as we arrived after 7 and then they have a special protocol as there is nobody at reception. It took several phone calls to finally get the information on how we had to check in. I think their English isn’t great. And then the next day the biggest disappointment: there was no breakfast! In the booklet we got it said breakfast until 10am but when we arrived at 9:30 on the door it said: breakfast until 9 (weekdays). So we had to leave Hungry and had to look for a place to have breakfast. Also we asked for a discount as we didn’t have breakfast and all she could offer was a 7 euro per person discount. What can you get for 7 euro’s? Maybe a croissant and a coffee. I don’t consider that breakfast. It’s a four star hotel with 1 star service. The room was 180 euro’s and we payed 166. Shameless. We will Never recommend this hotel to anybody and certainly will never come back.

Mixed feeling
Reviewed By KcindyMWe tried this hotel for a night. The room size was ok, no complains about it. Room furniture though kind of cheap stuff from the lampshades to the desk etc...for night, just enough. We had booked a double room, though the room we got was prepared for a single person. We called reception, and this was fixed though quickly. Staff were friendly, and not intrusive. We had dinner at the restaurant, and it was yummy. Breakfast was also lovely. (Although they had frenchtoast marked off as pancakes at the buffet-no drama though ?) All in all it was a nice stay. Would have given a 3star, but because of the breakfast, I give a 4star. Worth trying! Tip: Rooms on the roadside are really really loud when you open windows. Better ask for rooms on the other side!

Reviewed By jordij2016The hotel is not the newest but the location is great. The staff takes personal care of its guests, rooms are clean, breakfast is simple but very good. They call to find out when we were coming, arranged the arrival perfectly so that you can get to room without having to go through check in. Perfect service!

The restaurant is very good with food from the region. Potatoes, vegetables, Salad and meat, you know where ist is "produced".

Reviewed By RogerD978Nicht nur das Zimmer, auch das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren top sodass ich die Schenke bestens empfehlen kann. Ach die Umgebung ist interessant. (Limes, Rhein etc.). Am Rhein gibt es schöne Spaziergänge.

Gem on the Rhine River
Reviewed By derwolf63A nice hotel/restaurant right on the Rhine river, with a stunning view & unique garden restaurant. Perfect setting for a summer evening, to enjoy a glass of Rhine wine & a meal, while overlooking the valley & river, while ships go by. Also a beautiful village front & pedestrian zone along the length of the town, and connected to the bicycle path which goes along the Rhine. Leutesdorf is well worth the visit.

Good value for money overall.
Reviewed By Roy SRoom was very clean and comfortable. Noisy location adjacent to traffic light junction, especially in respect of rooms directly facing onto the road - like mine! A bonus was the pub across road i.e. The Thirsty Lion. The accommodation, location, and breakfast represented good value for money.

Reviewed By Damian00Brand New Hotel in small quiet city. Very clean and comfortable rooms, quiet area. Kind staff, communication in English its not problem, quick check in and out. To hotel attached nice and new restaurant with perfect food and a lot of beer kinds. Worth to use that place.
