Reviewed By Baron-von-KempenFriends of ours live near this lovely restaurant in Nettetal and we have dined here on many occasions. The menu is excellent, the service impeccable and the wine selections are first rate. They offer a nice selection of meat and fish dishes along with some seasonal items. I had a filet on this occasion prepared medium rare and it was absolutely delicious. During the Christmas season they offer roast goose with red cabbage and potato dumplings which is outstanding. The servers are very friendly and attentive to your every need. Highly recommended.

German Delight!
Reviewed By Alan DWe needed a hotel for my wife and I to meet up with our son and his family from Japan before going to a wedding. Haus am Rieth turned out to be perfect! Our bedrooms were lovely and the bathrooms were really fresh and modern. Breakfast was a treat and all you would expect in a German hotel - plenty of choice and always fresh and nicely presented. In addition there is a delightful 'Salt Grotto' for relaxation in the extensive cellar - along with a swimming pool. In addition, the Jansens are a lovely couple to stay with. Nothing was too much trouble and they played a big part in the success of our trip.

Lovely and quiet
Reviewed By DeeJaystoursA great quiet location. There are 3 letting en-suite apartments with a shared lounge and dining area. For the price we would have expected hot drinks to be available although there was a drinks bar in the lounge. It is a very relaxing location if you're looking for somewhere quiet. The owner was friendly and made us feel very comfortable.

Reviewed By 558ellencL'hôtel est situé en bordure de forêt, assez retiré. Très bel endroit. Très calme. Fête de la bière (Oktoberfest) fêté dans le restaurant par le choix des menus de Bavière. Hôtel et restaurant traditionnel. Accueil sympathique et chaleureux. Lit de grande taille, et duvets bon chaud. Très bonne literie. Salle de bain avec la chambre 1. Grande chambre.

Good value for money
Reviewed By Monika BI stayed at this hotel few times for business trip purposes. Hotel is clean, service good, very nice breakfast with good selection. Old style hotel, but most of the rooms are being upgraded to more modern style. Pretty close to Nederland. It’s a pity it is in very small village where have a dinner after work is a challenge especially during summer holidays. Hotel has a restaurant, but does not help it’s closed on Wednesday’s nite.

Sehr spartanisch und lieblos eingerichtetes Appartement
Reviewed By palme256Um in das Appartement zu gelangen muss man eine Telefonnummer anrufen unter der einem mitgeteilt wird das man nicht so einfach den Schlüssel bekäme. Man müsse min. eine Stunde vorher anrufen und man solle gefälligst freundlich zu der Frau am Telefon sein. Des Weiteren wurde sofort gefragt ob man die Kaution auch dabei hat sonst würde man erst gar nicht in die Wohnung gelassen. Dies alles in einem Ton zum abgewöhnen! Gastfreundschaft ist etwas anderes!!! Das Appartment liegt in einem sehr maroden, sanierungsbedürftigem Haus. Endlich kam die Betreuerin des Appartements. Eine nette Frau sie uns das Appartement zeigte. Sie gibt ihr bestes um das spartanisch, billig und lieblos eingerichtetes Appartement in Schuss zu halten. Das Appartement war groß, geräumig, soweit sauber mit vielen Schönheitsfehlern. Lampen sowie Steckdosen gab es vereinzelt. Abdunkeln konnte man keinen der Räume. Die Kaution gab es am Ende anstandslos zurück.
