スカイランタン打ち上げ体験プランがあります
Reviewed By kuromatsu３月末に親子４人で宿泊しました。建物の外観は若干古びた感じがしますが、建物の中は改装されています。建物の中の様々な場所に、押し花絵が飾られています。３Ｆの部屋や４Ｆにある露天風呂から信濃川が見えます。 ここのホテルは食事が豪華で、和洋取り混ぜて様々な食事が出てきます。どの料理もとても美味しいです。 このホテルから車で１５分ほどのところにある、ニューグリーンピア津南スキー場ではスキー場がオープンしている期間中、スカイランタン打ち上げ体験を実施しています。津南雪祭りの当日と比べると、打ち上げられるランタンの数は５０個程度と少ないですが真っ暗な空に上っていくランタンは幻想的で一見の価値があります。 このホテルではスカイランタンの打ち上げ時間に合わせて、会場まで送迎してくれるスカイランタン打ち上げプランが用意されています。 ランタンを打ち上げて戻ってくるタイミングで、夕食を用意しておいてもらえるのがありがたいです。

Reviewed By miesmile19I've stayed here with my friends 1 night. We could have an amazing experience! Took about 1 hour from Echigo Yuzawa st, the winter snow view from the pick up bus amazed us! Staff there was very friendly and we could have some fresh sasimi, local soba noodle, boiled crabs offered by all-you-can-eat style. We flew the sky lantern up at 18:00. It was one of the most memorable experiences for me!! the lanterns flew high up in the sky... it was very pretty and reminds me a Disney movie the attractions of the hotel is not only this winter season, we can enjoy four seasons with the charm of beautiful nature! I hope I can bring my friends and family someday!!

Reviewed By kyokon614地元のお野菜を使った心のこもった美味しいお食事。そして温泉がとろみのある湯質で特によかったです。 素敵な女将さんとご主人があたたかくもてなしてくださいました。 湯治のお客様が多いというのも納得です。温泉からの雪景色もよかったです。 Very relaxing ryokan - nice food, great Onsen. Beautiful snow sight from onsen. If you want to enjoy delicious local food and good Onsen, just relax for a few days then I would highly recommend!

Katakuri House is an accommodation in a renovated old school from the 19th century, located in the hidden scenic area of Akiyamago, which served local children for 108 years until its closure in 1992. Isolated, Simple and the Absolute Best Dinner
Reviewed By Beryl737We enjoyed our stayed at Katakura House October 9th the last night of our 2 night stay in the Echigo Tsumari Art Fields. We had a pleasant and good size traditional Japanese room with balcony. All rooms share a toilet area but the washing sinks are for both male and female. The onsen bath area has an inside and an outside bath. Very relaxing and clean . The scenery is beautiful and there is an empty swimming pool that houses a sculpture which is part of the Art Fields' itinerary. What stood out was the exceptional dinner. This is our 4th time in Japan and found the dinner ( mainly vegetables) to be one of the best we have had anywhere. The breakfast was also excellent. If you plan to visit the Art Fields, i would recommend to rent a car with a GPS in English. Head to the excellent KInare Art Museum (even better if you can get the map before you go) where you can purchase the Art Fields' map. On the back side there are over 100 art listings and under each description there is a map code. Use this code to plug into the GPS and 95% of the time you will be guided to the art pieces. However we did find that it often took us on a roundabout way and we were sure there could have been a faster and more direct route. Make sure you see the "Last Class" a whole elementary school where Christian Boltanski used each of the rooms and hallways for his installations.

自噴の洞窟風呂が素晴らしい
Reviewed By Venture806823秘境秋山郷にある、まさに秘境の一軒宿。吉川英治が新平家物語を執筆した宿としても有名です。日本100名湯にも選ばれている温泉。宿泊は1日数組で、今回は日帰りで利用させていただきました。自噴泉の洞窟風呂が素晴らしい。芯からあたたまり、入浴後に汗がひきません。宿の方の接客もとてもよかったです。
