Reviewed By RobeDiKapaI stayed at Cascade hotel for two nights. It is typical communist building, with that-time architecture. One has a feeling it all stayed original from times it was built. Seems they changed elevators, and repaint the walls every 10 years and that was it. It is not a good example of keeping old memories alive. Rather making the most money from what the worn out hotel can give. To start from the beginning. Doors to the room are wobbely, keylock loose, door handle loose. After you lock the doors they still are not firmly closed, but are locked. Inside all the sockets were loose and dangerous. Water tap was rusty and broken (seen on fotos). Bathroom door bent and beat up. Shower cabin door ripped out of the rails, hanging on upper wheels only. Wall paint stained, dirty and needed repainting long ago. TV set in a size of computer monitor. Torn fabric on a table seat. Beds were too narrow, too short for average guy like me. Am 177 cm high but bed was bit too short. Must have been 80x190cm small. Matraces were hard and uneven and worn out, pillows small and flat, blanket foo small. Food for breakfast was ok. The german Pensionist (obviously main guest at that time) enjoyed it fully. I particularly liked americano coffee from the machine. There was no gluten free bread available (didn‘ even bother to ask) so I took corn flakes. For dinner I ate steak from the menu. It was ok, nothing great about it tho. Fair. Parking is around the hotel. No garage. You’ll find cash machine in foyer. Staff was really friendly and helpfull. Very pleasant and polite people. But still wouldn‘t book this hotel again unless I had to.

Reviewed By 52kennethfThis was not a good experience. When i booked it was because of good reviews, but it must have been in the Old days. The room was fine and clean and the hotel was central. The breakfast was very bad and the service in the reception was also not okay. I will not come back here.

Simple good hotel, some remarks to tell....
Reviewed By Traveller8071Simple but clean and quite good hotel. Simple breakfast but choice and quality quite ok. Quite good price for the level of this hotel where kids will be so happy as there are outside equipments for them to play. 2 remarks: -No climate system, so very hot in the rooms, and when you open windows evening/night, you have the noise of terasse, where people eat, drink and talk.....To sleep it is quite difficult sometimes -No hot water on shower. We asked the waiter to have hot water into shower. She answered that as it is hot weather we should appreciate cold water for shower!!!!!! Amazing!!! Then owner came and ensured that he'll fix it. It was done during the day.

Pěkný čistý hotel
Reviewed By Pavel LHotel jsem si vybral díky umístění a slušné ceně ... Ubytovat se bylo ale dost komplikované, restaurace a "hotel" o svátku kdy jsme přijeli nefungovali a tak nám musela obsluha přijet předat klíče, což bylo trochu komplikované a museli jsme čekat, taky ta nemožnost se večer navečeřet. Pokoj pro 4 byl ale pěkný, čistý a prostorný, vše v naprostém pořádku. Ráno se podávala snídaně, která sice není v ceně, ale vyplatí se, moc dobrá a bylo toho hodně.

Reviewed By Monnyy017Penzion, který na Nás hned od příjezdu působil příjemným dojmem. Všechno bylo čisté, nádherný výhled z balkónu na Most. I když jsme přijeli pozdě večer a pan majitel měl rodinnou oslavu, hned se Nám s úsměvem věnoval. Snídaně byli ve vedlejší hospodě. Jídlo zde bylo vynikající, obsluha usměvavá. Rozhodně se sem rádi vrátíme.

Poor hotel, expensive
Reviewed By Piergiorgio PPoor hotel; it is more like an hostel and at the same price you can get a much better quality hotel in the city centre. Room was 4 beds dormitory with batroom attached. Breakfast was really poor and needs to be improved. City centre is 5 km far away and no public transports nearby.

Hotel v klidném přírodním prostředí s velkým potenciálem k vylepšení služeb
Reviewed By AngieKKKZ našeho pobytu jsme měli rozpačitý pocit..Rezervace nám byla písemně potvrzena dlouho předem a recepce nám slíbila zdarma upgrade do apartmá. Byli jsme příjemně překvapeni a těšili se. Po příjezdu do hotelu nám recepční/pokojská v jedné osobě sdělila, že v apartmá je špinavý koberec, a proto dostaneme jiný pokoj. Nevadí, řekli jsme si. Dostali jsme ale pokoj, ve kterém nebyla lednička ani minibar, chyběl sejf a nebyla zde žádná skříň, což je při delším pobytu velký deficit. Recepční se divila, že má být na pokoji minibar, tak jsme jí ukázali popis hotelu na internetu a tištěný hotelový prospekt, kde je minibar inzerován jako standardní vybavení každého pokoje. Hotelový prospekt s popisem pokojů ve třech jazycích byl k dispozici v recepci, ale zřejmě ho recepční nikdy nečetla. Nakonec jsme dostali ledničku a také sejf. Recepční nám tvrdila, že nemá žádný volný pokoj, kde by byla skříň. Jelikož jsme na patře viděli několik otevřených neobsazených pokojů, kde byla skříň, podařilo se nám po krátké diskuzi jeden takový pokoj získat. Nakonec jsme získali vše, co je inzerováno jako běžný hotelový standard. Recepční nás ještě upozornila, že již delší dobu nefunguje satelitní příjem, proto je v televizi pouze omezená programová nabídka v českém jazyce. Internet naštěstí fungoval. Další faux pas nastalo třetí den našeho pobytu. Vrátili jsme se do hotelu kolem 15 h a těšili se na sprchu, ale pokoj nebyl uklizen a neměli jsme žádné ručníky. Recepční nám řekla, že nás tak “brzy” nečekala, ale že zajistí obratem nápravu. Ručníky jsme nakonec získali, úklidu se už nedočkali. Ve tříhvězdičkovém hotelu, který o sobě tvrdí, že je kongresovým centrem, by se toto stát nemělo. V restauraci jsme si objednali jen jednou víno a pivo. Paní servírka byla sice milá, ale “ zřejmě omylem” nám naúčtovala o 1dc vína více. Možná proto, že se u našeho stolu hovořilo německy. Co mohu říci pozitivního? Předností hotelu je poloha v příjemném prostředí lesíku, hezký výhled z většiny pokojů a milý personal, který má bohužel značně velké rezervy v organizaci, pečlivosti a poctivosti (restaurace). Pokoje jsou poměrně malé, ale čisté a vcelku příjemně zařízené. Zřejmě kvůli úsporám dostávají dvě osoby pouze tři ručníky. Pokud by se z hotelové chodby v prvním patře odstranily ošuntěle vyhlížející židle a taburety, vypadala by i hotelová chodba příjemněji. Bufetovou snídani hodnotím pozitivně, byť i zde by se našel potenciál k vylepšení – např. tmavé pečivo. Doufám, že si hotelový management přečte mé připomínky a bude usilovat o jejich odstranění, resp. zlepšení svých služeb. Hotel by pak odpovídal inzerované kategorii a hosté by bezesporu odjížděli spokojeni.
