Reviewed By SailaharaOur room looked clean enough and we enjoyed that. The only issue that I had was that even though this is a smoke free facility, someone has smoked in the room. The 3rd floor had a funky smell, the first floor smells nice and clean.

Reviewed By teresacU75GIWe were attending a wedding near here. The staff is super friendly, breakfast was a welcome, good coffee and our room was set up nice. Our only gripe was the air was running but it was humid in our room and didn't sleep well b/c of it. But, they have someone looking into in maintenance so shouldn't be an issue for anyone now.

Located off exit 133 of I-64 at the primary exit for the Daniel Boone National Forest/Cave Run Lake recreational area and the MMRC Industrial Park. The area is also home to the Morehead/Rowan County Regional Airport and Eagle Trace Golf course. Morehead State Universtiy and St. Claire Medical Center are short 10 minute drive. We are locally owned and operated.
A much needed stay
Reviewed By jameshmcguireI needed a place to stay after work super early this morning because of the bad weather, and Connie was my hookup. She helped me with anything I needed down to a phone charging block. Much appreciated and will definitely come back when we deal with bad weather again!

Reviewed By wraith3920Our room fortunately did NOT have bed bugs. Which was good, but sad that’s where we needed to start from due to other reviews. Breakfast was non existent, rooms were aged and dirty, mattress was rock hard, A/C barely worked. Not really a good value for the price. The saving grace was the staff. The woman that we worked with was friendly, kind, helpful, and just overall excellent. It’s suitable, but really what I would consider a 40 dollar hotel. It’s a roof, walls, hot shower, and a bed.

All I wanted was a working bathtub.
Reviewed By susancR3544KLMy home has 2 showers. Occasionally I rent a motel room for a night so I can take a nice long soak in a tub. I told the front desk clerk as much when I checked in. I was told that I had not been assigned a room, so she would see what she could do. When I booked a King smoking room with a shower/tub combo on hotels.com, I was told my room was guaranteed. What I got was an apparently non-smoking room (no ashtray) with 2 queen beds and a bathtub with a broken stopper, so it wouldn't hold water. Also no cups or ice bucket. VERY disappointed.

We tried calling to make the reservation and no one ever picked up the phone, once I arrived I understand why. Apparently the phone doesn't work, the printer didn't work, the key punch to make the room keys didn't work. Now to the room, when you turned on the light the microwave came on, the tv was taped in place so the screen wouldn't fall down, the bedding was dirty, there was mold in the tub. BUT: worst of all to flush the toilet you had to take off the tank cover and manually pull the plunger. I've been a Redicard member for over 20 years and this was THE WORST RR I've stayed in. Just gross.
