The owner was lovely and very helpful. As soon as we arrived she asked what our plans were and helped us in getting it all organised, she also organised airport pick up from Ende and helped us book a car to take us to Bajawa after our stay. The fruit pancake for breakfast was delicious. The room itself is very basic but clean enough and the bed is comfortable. We unfortunately didn’t get to see a sunrise at Kelimutu as it was a little cloudy but that didn’t make it any less majestic, well worth the trip. Moni itself is very small with just a couple of restaurants, but we got a motor bike (also organised through the owner) and there are lots of gorgeous places to drive to.

Antonery lodge is located on trans ende maumere km 53 Moni Kelimutu. It's a family homestay with a comfy and quite surrounding. The visitor will be warmly welcomed by a house staff there. Housekeeping is ready 24/7. Every room is facilitated with hot water, mosquito net, toiletries(towel, soap,n toilet paper) and laundry
Stay away from this place! We used booking.com to stay here one night, paid in cash at check-out as normal, but they changed our booking to "cancelled" and charged our card. Also, the place is filthy and loud.

We got there late evening, after our driver recommended us to stay there, and called to inform we would arrive late. We got assigned the only bungalow available, informing us the good one was already occupied, it was completly dirty, bedsheets were smelly and in the toilet there was not even a shower, just humidity and insects. Not even a key, just a “toy locker”. And no wifi or hot water. We negociated the price down to 100K, but after trying to ask a drink and some dinner, we really saw this was out of limits, when we were offered water in glasses with a “dark shadow” on them while seating in a table fully covered by cigarrete ashes. Eventhough we decided to leave, they charged us 70K for the dinner we did not have. Worst than a nightmare... if you get recommended to go there by your driver... just take care. We don’t even know were the 7.9 they have in booking reviews comes from... after reading other guests were even robbed staying there!

Room was not clean and there was hot water enough for a 3min shower only, staff were friendly though they are not good with english. Breakfast was some slices of fruits with what seems to be instant pancakes.

Negative - The room was large but in need of some TLC, The towels we were given had many stains on them, the shower gave a trickle of hot water, the whole place need a thorough clean. Positives - The bed was reasonably comfortable and the breakfast included in the price was not bad.
