I always stay at the in hotel on my drive back from Italy. Great value, clean, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Secure parking is a huge benefit to me as I drive classic cars back to the UK and it is very important to keep them safe and secure. Great place to stay!

Most perfect hotel for our stay. Brilliantly located a short walk to Place Stanislas. Close to the station, though we arrived by car. Was nervous that as there is no drop-off or hotel parking it would be tricky. Parking in the road to checkin and unload very easy and a 200m drive to the multi-storey car park. Early reviews painted a grim picture of this car park, but I found it clean and tidy and well used. The hotel has been extensively renovated and it shows (street view shows it surrounded by scaffolding). Rooms are modest but very well equipped with air conditioned, great shower etc. The internet is the best I’ve come across giving 100Gbyte service. The breakfast buffet is in the hotel (Not round the back as earlier reviews mention) and is extensive and well prepared. There is a roof terrace which has a bar service in the evenings. The staff were attentive and helpful.Excellent!

The Hotel de Guise is an XVIIIth century seignorial house. Marquis de Jouffroy and Countess de Bressey ordered its construction in 1752. Countess de Bressey is remembered in our local history as king Stanislas's favourite. The original foundations of the house date back from a 1600 abbey - see room "Stanislas" or Breakfast lounge on the ground floor. In that room, characteristic elements of the Louis XIII period can be seen: ceiling " a la francaise": exposed wooden beams and painted lily flowers a monumental fireplace with a stone paved chimney-piece The hotel has The hotel is built in a U shape around a court recently renovated. The 49 rooms of the hotel have all been renovated as well and propose you a wonderfull experience in the heart of the old town of Nancy
This boutique hotel is in a quiet location in central Nancy. Our room onto the courtyard was comfortable, spacious & quiet. Emmanuele et al were warm & welcoming. Breakfast was substantial with quality local produce. Good restaurants & cafes nearby. The only negatives- wifi could do with an upgrade & toiletries spartan.

A bit difficult to find but at last, the parking garage behind the hotel was found. Nice reception, very good rooms including the beds and bathroom. The breakfast a bit crowdy. Needs improvement. Well situated in the old center of Nancy.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. It has a great historie! Although the building is very old, we found a very comfortable room and we had a nice breakfast in the old diningroom. We had to climb the old stairs to reach our bedroom, but it was all worthwhile. Nice and helpful people who showed us some nice restaurants in the neighborhood.

Hotel Campanile Nancy Station is in a reasonable location as long as you don't need to get to your car often - the nearest parking is about 400m away. The staff were pleasant enough but fairly indifferent to anything out of the ordinary. The room was cleaned once in three days. No tea/coffee-making facilities. Very short of hanging space for clothes.

The Grand Hotel de la Reine is located in the most beautiful square of Europe, the Place Stanislas. Live at the time of the Duke of Lorraine with the comforts of the 21st century.
If you are looking for a very central place to stay and emerge into the historical grandeur of the city of Nancy, this is the place to be. Located directly on the Place Stanislas, it does not get any better. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, and the breakfast buffet was very good as well.

Stanley Hotel is a located near Place Stanislas in Nancy, France. Entirely renovated, the hotel is warm and modern, with an easy access by car or public transport.
We have thought quite a bit about how to approach this review, and how to make it a fair evaluation. I think the way it is advertised is misleading, and as a result, we had a difficult time finding it. We were looking for the building in the photo, thinking that was the hotel. In reality, that is a building across the street! We actually asked a local person where the hotel was, and he pointed us down the street (away from the actual hotel) toward another beautiful building with a similar facade. Eventually we did find the hotel - the doorway is quite small, with a small sign - opposite the building in the photo. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful - she was able to recommend restaurants within walking distance, and direct us to the public parking nearby. (Parking is fairly expensive. Make sure you budget for this.) The following morning, we had the breakfast, which was very good and fresh. The lady attending the breakfast area was also very pleasant, with a quick smile. The staff gets 10 out of 10. They were great. The room fell short of expectations by a long shot - again, because we were relying on the photos in the listing. In every photo shown, the rooms were considerably larger than the one we had. The photos show rooms with large, bright windows, with balconies, and a fireplace, and they look comfortably spacious. Our room was so small, the door barely cleared the foot of the bed. There was really no place to sit except on the bed. There was a chair that could slide under a shelf. There was no fireplace. There was no balcony. Our room was clean, but somewhat dark. Because of the location, there was no sunlight reaching the room. Our view was of an ugly roof and the back walls of a couple other buildings. (see photos). The bathroom/shower was quite small. If you are a larger person, you would probably have difficulty using this room. On the other hand, the shower (though small) had great water pressure and was comfortably warm. Also, our room was definitely NOT soundproofed. We listened to the person in the next room coughing for a good part of the night, and we knew exactly when they got in because we heard them coming down the hallway. So while some of the rooms may have been soundproofed, not all of them are - and to advertise soundproof rooms is a bit misleading if you might be placed in one that isn't. There is an elevator, but it is small, and we were asked to only use it to take our luggage to our room. We were asked to use the stairs after that. To advertise an elevator, but then ask guests not to use it is a little odd. We were only on the 2nd floor, so it was no big deal for us - but for the higher floors, this would be inconvenient. If there is one suggestion we would have for the owners of the hotel, it would be to make the description and photos of the hotel more representative of what to expect.

We arrived at the Novotel, Nancy with only 8 km range left on our electric car, on a cold, foggy night. The Reception desk welcomed us, connected us to one of the chargers in the hotel parking, and sent us off to a comfortable room. Later we had a fine dinner at the hotel restaurant. A very family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The reception is very small and the young girl was alone so she refused to to show us the rooms. After some pressure she did. Even though the rooms are kind of renovated the smell is so bad. The area felt un safe with lots of soldiers around. We canceled our stay and moved to Novotel which is fully renovated and highly recommended. Avi
