Great place if you like nature
Reviewed By FabrizioGriecoNLI have been visiting this camping since 1991. This is one of the places which show that a successful balance between tourism and nature conservation is possible. The camping lies in a beautiful pine forest which stretches almost uninterrupted up north to Taranto. This forest is of tremendous importance for the protection of the coastline against erosion. Low-impact tourism is therefore a must. At dusk, the choir of cicadas is interrupted by the melancholic, monosyllabic whistle of the owls. Nature dominates, day and night. So besides the amenities, the beach, the wonderful people and (of course) good food, it's an excellent place if you like a good balance between fun, nature and culture (just check the Greek temples a few kilometers from here, and of course the city of Matera).

Each day they recommended great places to experience the local cuisine. Salvatore went above and beyond to accommodate our arrangements at the beach as well as our daily excursions. Many thanks goes to Emilia for her hospitality and for all her useful information about the local culture. We strongly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in visiting the Lucania region. Grazie a tutti!

Reviewed By Navigator53506701039Very nice, spaces apartment. Spotlessly clean. Nice breakfast, Also , they recommended good place for a dinner. The food was very very good. They offer free parasol and subbed in the beach nearby. It was very good experience. Well done. Totally recommend.

Reviewed By Julia Sthis hotel is definately for Italian locals or the history buff like me. I love HIstory and especially ancient Greek history and this area is famous for the artifacts. I wanted to mention that the hotel is close to the beach, the tour guide from the ancient sites will pick you up, the hotel is very very clean and the free breakfast is delicious as is the orange juice. the only minor thing is that they charge 10 euro to use the Hotel beach chair. - that should be free with the payment of your room to the Hotel.

Reviewed By elisabettaf75We have just left the village. I will No longer come here for my holiday. Dining room without air conditioning my uncle was feeling so low because of the heath. Every fridge in the village rooms doesn’t really work. We have paid so much money for a room for 4 people and we received a room with 3 beds and a sofa bed , reckless and very old. When we asked for another single bed we have been told we couldn’t- so we paid extra for another room. Team animation is like didn’t exist no one ever came to say hi or introduced themselves. In our room the ceiling started licking very bad lol, my parents room didn’t have air conditioning. We were a group of 12 people with 3 couples every room had an issue. Food decent, horrid breakfast, lunch and dinner nearly decent. Staff sad and not friendly at all. Cleaning team were the only who would smile and be happy. The way to go to beach there’s a mini “bus” looks like Thailand which might be fun but the car which it was Pulled by would release petrol smell - such vomit. Archery practiced without the right equipment so very dangerous. This place looks like has just opened again after 30 years. And I haven’t mentioned the shows at the theatre ... absolutely boring and with no sense. Such a waste of money. Siamo venuti nel mese di agosto, non ci tornei mai più, sala da pranzo non condizionata , si muore di caldo, il frigo non funziona in tutte le camere del villaggio .Abbiamo pagato un sacco di soldi per una quadrupla e abbiamo ricevuto una tripla con un divano letto tutto rotto e scassato. Quando abbiamo riferito ci e stato detto che quelle sono le camere quindi abbiamo dovuto pagare extra c avere un altra camera. Animazione come se non esistesse siamo arrivati e nessuno si è mai presentato. Il soffitto ha iniziato a gocciolare. Nella camera dei miei genitori non funzionava il climatizzatore eravamo 12 persone di cui tre coppie, non c’era una camera senza problemi. In tt le camera c’era un problema. Il Cibo discreto colazione pessima. Lunch and breakfast nearly decent. Nel tragitto per arrivare al mare con la navetta trainata da auto che rilasciava puzza di benzina. Tiro dell arco praticato senza protezioni, molto pericoloso

Reviewed By Stefano ALa struttura si trova in posizione molto tranquilla ed è composta da unità abitative a due piani disposte in maniera razionale all' interno di un'area recintata, con ampi spazi ideali per i giochi dei bambini. Gli appartamenti sono luminosi e ben concepiti ma l'arredamento è davvero scarso : pareti spoglie, nessun tavolo / scrivania sui quali poter riporre degli oggetti, nessun comodino nella camera da letto dei ragazzi, bagno senza asciugacapelli né portasapone. Anche l'attrezzatura da cucina è davvero "essenziale". Spiaggia (sia attrezzata sia libera) a 600 m circa raggiungibile con piacevole passeggiata attraversando un'ampia pineta alle spalle del litorale. Mare limpido solo al mattino, non appena si alza un alito di vento si intorbidisce (sempre nel pomeriggio), quindi nel complesso piuttosto deludente. Situazione aggravata dalla costante presenza di gigantesche meduse, che non ci hanno mai permesso di poter nuotare in relax. Infine segnalo che il supermercato più vicino si trova ad alcuni km di distanza, per cui è indispensabile l'utilizzo dell"auto.

Il check-in previsto al pomeriggio non prevede alloggiamenti temporanei per un minimo di servizio appoggio: toilette o spogliatoi. Pulizie finali ad un prezzo di 70€ non trovano giustificazione: la pulizia è sommaria. In periodo di pura santificazione preventiva COVID-19 lascia molto da riflettere. Prezzi esagerati per i servizi offerti.
