Spent two nights at the hotel, and had a great stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, staff was excellent and attentive, and the outdoor bar space was beautiful. In-room wifi was a bit slow, but a stronger signal in the cafe just encourage me to work from there while enjoying an americano.

Stanford Park Hotel is a sophisticated hideaway in the heart of Silicon Valley and Stanford University. Book our luxurious hotel with spacious rooms.
I have stayed here several times over the past 25 years. Recently enjoyed two nights. Living on the East Coast, I appreciate the courtyard lay out which allows me to enjoy the California weather while being so close to Palo Alto and Stanford. El Camino Real is noisy, but I find the courtyard facing rooms have a sense of remove from that. Used the pool for the first time and loved it.

I stayed at the Hotel Nia for 4 nights in April. The room was very clean with new linens and plenty of plugs. Shower pressure was also great. On less positive note water is not free and I had to call 3 times to get the shower gel replenished. All in all a decent hotel

Rosewood Sand Hill, one of the finest hotels near Stanford University, is located on 16 acres of gardens and courtyards in the heart of Silicon Valley, close to diverse entertainment venues.
This hotel was amazing! Im very particular when i sleep away from home and i wish i was still there ! Its not fancy, but not too casual, the beds are so comfortable i I live the nice white high quality linens, i love the Shower its huge! great water pressure! too & clean! But what is the best stand out thing at this hotel is the Service!! from the minute they welcome you at your car, to check in, tk delivering your bags, setting you up, asking for anything they are on it & with smiles & happy too! Even hot water at night! And the grounds are beautiful! We did not eat at restaurants so cant comment !! Every single employee was top notch !!

This chic hotel is a minute's walk from the nearest bus stop, a 16-minute walk from Stanford Shopping Center and 1 mile from Stanford University. The minimalist rooms come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minifridges, as well as coffeemakers. Upgraded rooms add kitchenettes and/or pull-out sofas. Suites have separate sitting areas.
Noisy, dirty (circular white yucky spot on carpet was disgusting), pillows were gross….like old cut up foam pillows stuck in cases?? “Manager” was an angry out of control man who seems to get off on bullying paying clients. We got out of there as soon as we could find other accommodations. It was truly horrible.

In a region renowned for razor-sharp venture capital firms and a generous dose of Stanford-style intellectual innovation, the Menlo Park Inn carves a decidedly unique niche - a sleek, utterly stylish inn that makes all-star service its top priority. Sure, our guests love our easy, under-two-mile access to Palo Alto, but what really makes them smile? We think it's the sweet smell of fresh-baked cookies. It's an Xperience you'll never forget.
Let me start by stating I have previously stayed at this property and was aware of the plusses and minuses when I booked it for this trip. First, you simply cannot beat the rate for this location. It is ideally situated for easy travel to many nearby locations. There are very good restaurants within a five minutes’ walk and many other places to visit within a five to ten minutes’ drive. The rooms are relatively spacious, depending upon which one you book, and very comfortable. There is plenty of lighting, the wall unit HVAC works well and doesn’t make an obscene amount of noise but isn’t as quiet as central AC would be. The bed was comfortable and the television was good with plenty of channels from which to choose (important on long stays or stays with kids). The bathrooms are nice with good lighting and excellent water pressure. Wireless worked well. I was in a corner room and it was as quiet as it could be. On the flipside, there will always be more noise when you have a motel style setting without interior hallways. It wasn’t ever a nuisance during my stay but just know you will hear more as a result. The room I was in really could use an update. The couch was old and slightly stained. The carpet, paint, wallpaper, bathroom tiles and fixtures are clearly from another century. It’s not bad, just worn down. It didn’t detract from my stay as, again, I had been here before and knew what I was getting. Not having a breakfast was irrelevant to me as I never eat one anyway. Parking so close to your room is always more convenient. I see that many folks rate this a four or a five. I am not comfortable doing that because this property, though really good for what it is, cannot attain that rating as the condition of the rooms don’t warrant it. BUT, I would absolutely stay here again because I do not need a four or five star rated property when I make a trip to Menlo Park. I need a well-priced, well located, nice motel and this fits that need.

We stayed here for 10 days, specifically because of location and having a kitchen. Although we would return, this hotel has some "quirks." As others have noted, the hotel is very close to the train tracks--we heard train whistles all the time, and at night when the freight trains run, our room vibrated (Building C--farthest from the tracks!) On the other hand, it was a quick walk to the train station :-) - Our one-bedroom was quirky too, in that it had an outdoor entry and a huge bathroom that took up square footage needed by a small bedroom. However, everything was clean and worked. There was a spacious work desk in the living area plus we could work from the kitchen counter as well. Amenities were typical of RI including full-size fridge, microwave, stovetop, dishwasher and dishware. The room could use more USB ports--there were only 2, by the front door instead of near any work space. - The metal entry gate to Building C slams shut each time it's used, so guests in rooms 175 and 275 hear the slamming frequently. - Cleaning was by request and they do a good job. - Breakfast was very typical for RI with hot and cold foods and the breakfast staff is very nice. - The fitness room had a few treadmills, 1 elliptical and 1 reclining bike. It was also very clean and always stocked with water and towels. - Guest laundry is free and available in each of the 3 buildings. - Parking is expensive. - Aside from the train tracks, the location is very good--amid stores, restaurants and groceries like Trader Joes. - The hotel has a really nice outdoor courtyard area and grilling area.
