Clean hotel & friendly staff
Reviewed By JessClaire76I have stated here twice. Staff is very friendly and all speak English. Breakfast buffet has good vegetarian options. Rooms are always clean, however I recommend getting a “double” room...single rooms are very small with tiny beds and showers.

Reviewed By 639gunillakOn the way north on A7 is the hotel quite close and easy to find. The town and bridges are worth a look if you have the time. Breakfast is good w a nice view. Our room was quite small but enough for a good bed and clean bathroom. Nothing else to do in the town

Perfect pot stop on our way south
Reviewed By 299jaffarkBeautiful spot in charming surroundings. The old city center is like a fairy tale. Very clean and Well preserved. Like an outdoor museum. Nothing much to do but take a peaceful stroll around and have dinner in one of the old restaurants around city hall. Recommendable. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff very helpfull. Great breakfast as well. Our second stay here. Close to the highway so it easy to get back on trck going south, if you, like us, are coming from Scandinavia on our way to warmer climates.

Little jewel among hotels

Nothing complicated, but clean rooms, parking places for cars with easy access to room, excellent breakfast and as the hotel has no restaurant, the possibility for eating pizza or other ordered meals outside if weather is nice och in the breakfast room.

An adventure!
Reviewed By KazRobinsonThe location is perfect, just a short walk into Melsungen, the room was spotless, the older woman in the reception area was welcoming and friendly and although her English was limited and our German non existent we managed to get by. It was however like staying at grandmas, old and a bit worn, no aircon and adjacent to the train line so you had to close the windows at night for a bit of peace. Breakfast was basic and included in the Tarif, which was very reasonable. Overall a bit of an adventure, quirky but not for those who prefer upmarket accommodation.

Absolutely disgusting
Reviewed By Gabriella SOld fashioned pension with no extra services. Quite expensive. All you get is a bed - not worth the price. We payed 60 euro for a children's bed with an extra madras on the floor. The host with lack of English skills, has an horrible attitude. She smokes all the time and it's simply disgusting to be around. The sheets has not been changed. They were quite smelly. I do NOT recommend this pension! Although the city is beautiful.

Reviewed By BobKFastNice hotel In a very beautiful old city The room was cosy and clean. The bed perfect. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was very nice.Not to expensive. The staff is kind and serviceminded. The parking is not at the hotel. It’s not possible in the old city. But it’s in walking distance.
