The Westin Tokyo welcomes you to the center of the most metropolitan city in Japan. Just minutes away from JR Ebisu Station, corporate offices, shopping and entertainment centers, The Westin Tokyo holds one of the best locations in the city, making it a simple decision when considering where to stay in Tokyo. Classic European décor adorns each room, accompanied by the signature Heavenly® Bed to ensure you leave feeling better than when you arrived.
Third time stayed at this hotel. Again, many may say the location is not popular as other area, but actually the opposite that could give other charming area in Tokyo. Can easily find fine restaurants in the surroundings (Italian, French, Japanese, etc). This time tried their Club Lounge Access Room and was great. Check-in time continued with Afternoon Tea selections at the Club Floor. Breakfast also served at Victor’s on the 22nd floor, beautiful and wide view of the city, and the a la minute menus were delicious. Worth the price for the benefits. Will stay again for sure in the next couple weeks.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World. At Hotel Gajoen Tokyo, suites are set between the 6th and 8th floors, for peaceful nights and weeping city views.Along with luxury touches such as a private sauna and beautiful marble bathroom. In 1928, a new Tokyo treasure opened its gates. Hotel Gajoen Tokyo promised cuisine, hospitality and surroundings so otherworldly that it became known as the ‘Palace of the Dragon God’. It fast became a hotspot for luxury society weddings and social events. Today, the original retreat has been carefully transformed. A boutique hotel immersed in omotenashi hospitality that continues to welcome wedding parties and global travellers to Tokyo.
Hotel Gajoen is not only a great place to stay but also offers areas to relax and dine or to have afternoon tea. Also make sure to pay the historical part of the hotel a visit. Paying the small entrance fee of the Hyakudan Kaidan will open the doors to what is also known as the Palace of the Dragon King of Showa Era, a 99-step staircase that is home to Japanese-styled rooms and wall-decorations.

A really great choice in terms of extended stay hotels. The staff is friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Some of the staff’s English is limited, but there was always one person on staff with good English, you just needed to find that person. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but small. I think that is the case for any hotel in Tokyo. We got a triple for 3 adults and had 3 double-sized futons. The upside was that we had plenty of sleeping space, the downside was that the futons took up 90% of the room. But for a 2 week trip, it was SO helpful to have a washer-dryer in the room, as well as a kitchenette. Free coffee in the lobby was a very nice benefit. We took 2 side trips to Kyoto and Shanghai, and the staff was great about storing some of our luggage so we didn’t need to transport all of our heavy suitcases. The location is terrific, right near the train station and in the nice mostly residential neighborhood of Yutenji. There are lots of restaurants and stores but it’s not crazy busy like Shibuya. I’d highly recommend this for English-speaking travelers.

I had to write an exam in Tokyo at Temple University (Japan campus). I specifically looked for a hotel that was conveniently located for me to take the exam early in the morning. I picked Hotel Fukudaya for the convenience but was wow'd overall. The people working at the reception were all very friendly. I speak Japanese so check-in was pretty smooth but I saw a lot of other foreigners and they could generally communicate in English with them. My room was quite small with tatami floor. I had a large window and my own private access to a toilet. Didn't have a shower in my room, but had access to a bath (you lock it so you have sole access for that period of time). It was pretty cold in Tokyo at that time but the air conditioner heated the (small) room just fine. There are no elevators but they will help you with your luggage if you are staying on the upper floor. They held onto my luggage after I checked out and I came back for it later. I only had them hold onto it for a few hours, but I believe they can hold onto it for even a few days. Can't imagine having to stay here again since it's not the most convenient for tourists and I won't be needing to take the exam again. You have to walk quite a distance from the nearest JR station (uphill too). But it was a very comfortable stay.

I gave it a poor rating as it's expensive for you get. We also stayed at the Mitsui Garden at Gotanda one the next stop of the JR line with was much cheaper and much nicer. It may be because we only booked about a week before we went, so a better price would rate it average. The room is vey basic and compact. No wardrobe at all, only 4 hangers on hooks against the wall. TV had local channels only. No water in the fridge. Paper, through away room cards (not a bad idea I guess as long as you don't damage them as you need one for the lift. Only 200 yards from the station which helped. Shower was fine, as was a/c.

Certainly this hotel is I think that it is good hotel. However, as a result of using less frequently, decline in the quality of service was seen. More specifically, in the reduction of the room of furniture, removal of bathrobe. And and so polite of the front of the human service. Use of a few times I thought it was appropriate for the year.
