The staff at Villa San Martino looks forward to serving you during your upcoming visit.
We chose this venue for our wedding and had to postpone twice due to Covid. Guilia, our wedding coordinator's constant calmness, empathy, enthusiasm and professionalism got us through. Plus everyone at the villa worked together to put on a weekend for us that surpassed our wildest expectations. A special shout out to Maitre Guiseppe - for he made it clear nothing was too much trouble and to the Chef Francesco who truly made sure every single plate served and element on it was pure perfection. Everything was so smooth from checking our guests in and serving lunch, to the drinks reception and BBQ on Friday. Walking up to the new trulli all lit up in white, with the Italian music playing and all the tables being set up was so elegant and beautiful - it is a moment we will always remember. Our guests really enjoyed the food on Friday particularly as it was so different from the BBQ food we have in England! The food was outstanding on Saturday too and the amount of it we couldn't believe it just kept coming!! Our guests loved the dinner at the long table and the length of time it took - again very different to England - it felt like much more of an occasion, a banquet - much more special. We are so so happy that we chose Villa San Martino as our wedding venue and that we waited to do it properly. We really can't put into words how amazing it was. There is nothing we would have done differently or think could have gone better.

The Park Hotel San Michele consists of 85 rooms which sleep about 170, various restaurant areas both indoors and outdoors, a conference centre for about 300 and meeting rooms of different sizes, a 5000 mq park in which there is an outdoor pool open during the summer season and a free car-park for all guests.
Both the setting and locale of the Park Hotel San Michele are fine, its grounds are nicely landscaped including a delightful swimming pool. But the interior of the hotel is disappointing and the breakfast buffet is dismal. The room interior has old linoleum tile and a disappointing bath with a very tiny shower stall and soap dispensers that are essentially inoperable. The hotel seems to cater to weddings as I could hear a loud party until it died down after midnight, so if you choose to stay here I suggest a room on an upper floor rather than the first floor.

Located in the heart of Valle d'Itria,on the road by the green hills of the Murgia leads to the Salento, the Masseria Nuove Caselle welcomes its guests in an oasis of peace and tranquility.Derived from ancient trulli, once used as barns and stables, surrounded by typical Mediterranean pine trees and olive trees, our rooms are equipped with every comfort and offer an authentic and magic dimension. Recommended for bike lovers.
The Trullo Nueve Caselle provides a great masseria experience in Puglia. The location is top notch, in the middle of the very green Vallee d'Itria. In addition, May is a great time to be there. The property is very well kept, the room was clean and tidy, and the owner is very welcoming. Highly recommended. Only suggestion: put a Nespresso machine in the room in order to be flexible with coffee making. Also, given that no store is nearby, stock a fridge with drinks so that guests can serve themselves. All in all - would definitely come again.

We arrived here late Sunday evening and we all had a strange feeling about the place as it looked deserted. We were assured by the friendly staff that the place was booked out and when the bus of French tourists arived, we had our answer. The setting is rural and you will need a car with GPS to utiliise this hotel. It's along the lines of converted old stables and its clear a lot of money was spent here but dare I say, a little while ago. Mosquitoes are a problem if you want to sit outside. The rooms were large and more than adequate, if a little in need of minor works. We ate at the accompaying restaurant twice as it would be a significant drive to find an alternative. The food was a little hit and miss, some very good and some not so. The wine list was good and reasonably priced with mostly local wines which is a plus for me. Service was good but slightly disconnected [we struggled to find someone to show us to a table] with what appeared to me, over-worked staff. In my country, a hotel would not be allowed to have the same staff member take your payment at 11:00 PM before presumably cleaning up then fronting up to breakfast service at 8:00 AM the following morning including al the pre set up. The breakfast was reasonable. There is a nice pool area, even if its too shallow to swim in half of it. In our view, a place with a little work and more care of staff could be wonderful.

I was so disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. Advertised as four star hotel, I fails comprehensively, and when complaints are raised, they are dismissed and left unresolved. The hotel claims to provide wifi, and this simply just not the case, almost everyday I was forced to leave the hotel and/or my room to make the simplest of Internet usage. At best, I managed to get a connection whilst having my breakfast, but it is extremely hard to work in a dining room whilst others are eating their food. In fact, when I complained to the receptionist, I was told to use the public areas, and yet, the hotel says WiFi is available in all areas. When investigated by the booking agent, the hotel lied and said no issues were raised!!! Breakfast was simply atrocious, for the first 4 days all I was able to eat was croissants and biscuits, I was only informed by another guest that I had to request specific items if I wanted them! Why wasn’t I given this information when I checked in or at breakfast, its just ridiculous. At no point did any member of staff give me visually or verbally a listing of what was available for breakfast. Again, when I complained I was left felling in the wrong and extremely embarrassed Although the hotel is advertised with a pool, it is actually a neighbouring outdoor sports club, and at the time I visited, it was full with local families and children, and not the relaxing spot implied at the hotel in their advert. To be totally honest, this has not been a good experience and I am unable to recommend this hotel.

The good points: - the masseria has a really nice pool and beautiful views. It gives you a luxurous feeling when coming home from dinner. - Our staff was very friendly and helpful The bad points: - we had never fresh bread for breakfast. Overall, the choice is very limited for a +250 euros room and a long stay. - the owner suggested to organise our pizzas during our pool day (instead of going to Martina Franca town). Surprisingly 2 dr. Oetker pizzas were served! The biggest surprise came when checking out: the owner charged 50 euros for this ‘lunch’: scandalous. The restaurant was poor quality in general. - Difficult communication in English Overall we would recommend the masseria for 1-2 nights because of the views and the pool but skip the restaurant and enjoy the great restaurants in Martina Franca town. The price setting is not correct for a longer stay.

Hospitality at its best in this B and B. We were met at the bus stop by Francesco, Sara, and Daniela who wanted to make sure that we got to their B&B okay. They are very friendly, helpful, and eager to please. The room had a king size bed and very whimsical decorations and a bathroom with two wash basins and a large shower. Each morning during our four day stay, Sara brought breakfast usually consisting of orange juice, croissants, eggs, and cappuccino coffee. We could have asked for yogurt and meat also. They cleaned the room and supplied it with fresh towels each day. The B&B was located in a walkway in the historical center of town. If you stay at this location, you will be hearing church bells ringing often.

Host and hostess were warm and generous, with good recommendations for places to eat and see.The trullo family rooms and the matrimonial room both had comfortable beds and good bathrooms. We had a great stay exploring the cities around Martina Franca by rental car. Parking was provided . The facility is located on a one-lane country road and we enjoyed our evening walk to aperitifs at the local caffe and pizza at Jonny's, the two closest facilities by far (5 min). Want to mention two items to inform the potential consumer. One, it's more like a 15-20 minute walk to the old city and restaurant district. Otherwise a car is needed with concomitant parking hassles as in all Italian cities. Two, we were surprised that breakfast consisted of self-made coffee and packaged items to be consumed in the room.
