Oh my goodness, what an incredible find! I honestly couldn't recommend this place enough. We stayed over the Jubilee weekend with my family and my friend's family. We were concerned it might be really busy and noisy that weekend but we didn't have to worry. There was plenty of space, really generous pitches and the site clearly attracts very considerate campers who care about nature and respect those around them. The kids loved running around the massive field and it felt very safe. The facilities were absolutely spotless (the cleanest loos I have EVER seen at a campsite!!). The hosts couldn't do enough for you, it had such a friendly, can do feel about it. And the cherry on the cake was hiring out canoes for a paddle into March and back - just blissful! We will definitely return. I think I have found a new favourite!

I arrived at the hotel on Bank holiday Monday, staying for two nights! After a helpful check in I went to my room, which was clean and tidy but did find that the TV wasn’t picking up any channels, this was reported and the hotel did what they could on a holiday and limited staff. The following day I returned late afternoon to find that nothing had been done to resolve the problem! Not good enough guys! The staff are still friendly but the cleaning, outside of the rooms is way below what I would expect, food dropped on the stairs late Monday was still there Tuesday evening! The hotel is still the better place to stay in March but it needs to do better!

11 bedroom 15th century public house with a large car park at the rear , We are in the centre of the town and overlook the market square , We have SKY & BT tv in the bar area and at weekends we open late on Friday & Saturday nights , and although we do have quiet rooms there is noise downstairs ( we do offer ear plugs in every room ) Please ask if you need a quiet room and we will try and cater for you . breakfast is served from 7am-9 am , but if you need it any later please ask
Friendly, good food, fast service, reasonably priced, what more for you need? It's pub food, not Michelin food or prices. We had katsu chicken, beef burger, mozzarella sticks and breaded mushrooms. All to be recommended, in my and my wife's opinion.
