Reviewed By I7933OUstevencWe have just come back from stopping for a week in this hotel. It may be rated a 3 star hotel but should be a 5 star. All staff were amazing and so friendly and helpful. Big thank you to Rachel on reception for all she did for us. This hotel is spotless and very clean. Rooms cleaned every day. Clean towels every day. Thank you to the house maids for a fantastic job keeping this hotel clean. Fantastic. Free WiFi and free safe. Fridge in your room Plus a fantastic sea view. Book this hotel you will not be disappointed. Although they do not serve food there are plenty of places to eat and plenty to do. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Reviewed By Oratava PA pleasant Resort suitable families not so much for couples. Resort however is a little rundown and could do some general modernization, fresh paint for example. Resort quite a distance from the nearest town, therefore car is definitely required. Prices at the snack bar for drinks and food or reasonable. The on-site convenience shop it's only for basics. We traveled with a dog that is not a problem on the resort with dogs be sure you bring the dogs passport for reception.

Reviewed By riw9471We booked a room which has direct access to the garden which also comes with two huge private sun beds. ( treat for our 36th wedding anniversary). The hotel is maintained to a very high standard, as were the beautiful gardens with many different fruit trees, and a lovely pool. As the title says in a very quiet location, which a car is preferable for exploring. The only minor grumble would be the towels were very thin.

A hidden little gem
Reviewed By sw1secThis place is such a surprising oasis of calm and tranquility. Driving towards it through the Manilva apartment area you don't know what to expect but then you arrive at what is basically Hollywood on the Costa Del Sol. The parking area is small but the hotel entrance is grand and exciting. The room was great with a large shower. I think there were 3 floors accessible by a lift and the guests we met were all super chilled. We sat by the pool and enjoyed the serenity. It was just so quiet. There aren't many staff as its a small hotel so be prepared for a wait at reception if they have had to run upstairs. We didn't eat breakfast - choosing to drive 3 minutes into Duquesa Marina. For a beautiful experience, peace and quiet, lovely views and value for money this is an excellent place to stay. I definitely recommend it.

If you’re not bothered about a pool (there’s a communal one in the village, with a bar that serves food) then this place is great value for money, with quiet, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, air con, and very friendly staff.

Lovely one night stay - absolute dream of a location
Reviewed By bwright177We stayed at the property for one night on 14 July when we were in Duquesa visiting family during a holiday to Malaga. The photographs of this property and its rooms simply do not do it justice. Located literally a minute's walk from the beachfront and set in a beautiful garden in a relatively quiet estate, this property is a hidden gem. We walked into Puerto de la Duquesa on the evening of our stay which took around 25 minutes and was a very pleasant walk with lots of market stalls, restaurants, and bars. We also walked back to the property at around 1.30am/2am and had no issue. The property itself is very homely - huge, very comfortable bed with a large modern bathroom (great power shower) and a spotless room. The hosts (Laly and Paul) were just wonderful, coming out to meet us and instruct us where to park upon arrival and while they were extremely welcoming, left us to own devices. We would definitely stay here again and cannot recommend it enough. Thanks Laly and Paul!
