We have 12 lovely individually decorated bedrooms, serving fresh homemade food. We try not to be pretentious, preferring instead to be informal and friendly, but we are still totally committed to quality and service. But the best part of all is the river and rambling gardens, home to a family of ducks and if you are lucky you might even spot a Kingfisher!
Stayed one night and had dinner in the pub. Everything was perfect and staff were very friendly and polite. Room was clean and nicely decorated! The bed was very soft and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. The pub’s food and drink were amazing! If we were local we’d be regulars!

Met with other friends for a few days holiday in the beautiful New Forest. Near to many attractions e.g. Exbury Gardens, Bucklers Hard and Compton Acres Garden. But the grounds of the hotel are a little Exbury Garden all of theirown. Wonderful for wandering through the many different areas and plenty of sitting opportunites too. The staff are all welcoming, especailly Dan, who helped ensure that all our group's needs were met from dining to parking and everything in between. The food was amazing in flavour and presentation and nothing was too much trouble from the waiting staff. The swimming pool outside was not open but the indoor pool was very pleasant, though watch out for the long shallow area that tends to scrape one's knees if you are not careful! Rooms are very comfortable - we were up a couple of flights of stairs so with no lift, beware if this is a physical problem for you. Our room looked over the beautiful back garden with magnicient rhodedendron colours at this time of year. Pity our Julienne type balcony was full of very dead leaves and weeds. A few areas need a bit of tlc around the hotel such as some repainting here and there but not enough to spoil our stay ,as we know hospitality has and is taking its time to get over lockdowns. We found our room very warm as the radaitors insisted on staying on but leaving the window open did the trick. If it were not for these last few things, I would have no hesitation to give it 5+ stars. We would return in a heartbeat Thank you.

Kirsty and Sophie were possibly the best reception assistants that I’ve ever experienced at a hotel in my 20 years of visiting such establishments, simply wonderful. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody who is visiting the area and I was generally astounded at everything that the McDonald Elmers Court hotel offered. If only every hotel had such wonderful staff. 5 stars!!!

We spent 3 great nights on vacation, we have stayed many times over the years and always experienced a very good level of service and value for money pub style food. The area is outstanding and rooms very comfortable, the fabric of the hotel is looking tired now however the great staff make up for this in particular 'Paul' who is a credit to the Hotel with bags of energy and humour. Thanks to the team at The Beach House.

Located in the centre of picturesque Lymington, the Angel and Blue Pig dates back to the 13th century when it was a coaching inn. With a homely and welcoming pub atmosphere and featuring 14 newly re-furbished en-suite hotel rooms, "The Angel" is the perfect place to visit. Conveniently situated in the on the coastal boarder of the New Forest National Park,it sits in one of the most beautiful landscapes in the South of England.
The pub is well located in the centre of Lymington and has good secure parking. We were going to a wedding and Jay was really helpful with our check in and allowing us to change before we zoomed off. The bed was large and comfortable and the historic building interesting and quirky. Not a level floor anywhere, which added to its charm! The breakfast was particularly good. A good selection with plenty of veggie options. Quality ingredients well prepared. We felt this was good value and would recommend.

A full English breakfast, and other options, are served every morning, in the independent ‘Raft Rocks’ Restaurant. Local Restaurants and Shops are found within a 10-minute walk from the property. There is a very popular Bird Hide immediately next door to the building.
Marine House is enviably positioned at the landward end of the spit leading to Hurst Castle and only 10 minutes walk from the restaurants in the centre of Milford. It also has its own parking. Our room was Dolphin Bank. It has a lovely view West along the promenade and out to sea. The quality of the fittings etc in the room is exceptional; more the standard that you would put in your own home than you would expect in a B&B. Mandy was delightfully welcoming and helpful. She and her husband clearly have a passion to make sure that their guests have a great stay. We would certainly like to stay here again.
