Outstanding hospitality
Reviewed By everestdumplingThis was our first visit in Lumbini with small family. We booked Pawan Palace Hotel for 2 nights. We informed to the hotel our arrival time. We were surprised because Mr. Suraj Thapa who is General Manager there was waiting for us to welcome. We are not VIP but he was there. He was so friendly and assist us for the check-in hotel in front desk. Staff in front desk was friendly too. Their smile, body language and dealing with guests was outstanding. They made us easy checked-in, might be they feel that we are tired for travelling. Lumbini is a place where Lord Buddha was born so ambiance of the hotel are traditionally Buddhism which we loved it. Room and all hotel are spotless cleaned. Especially I would like to thanks to the chef who made us happy in dine-in. Breakfast Lunch and dinner. Food was so delicious so we didn't try outside. Restaurant staffs were friendly as well as house keeping staff. Overall I will say, all the staffs were professional in hospitality. Lack of time we stayed there just 2 nights but in future definitely we will come back again. To all travellers, I will recommend you to try this PAWAN PALACE HOTEL if you are planning to visit Lumbini. You gonna love it and will get amazing hospitality. Reviewed By Teri TThe best thing about the place is the staff, who are really friendly and helpful. I got a budget room at a really cheap price (about $9 USD). It seems to be a low season for them. Anyway, there was only one other guest in the hotel, which was nice because it was really quiet. The bed was comfortable. Hot water is solar, so since there was no sun in those days, they gave me an electric kettle to heat water for my bath. Rather time-consuming, but I was grateful for the hot bath. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Spacious rooms and great service
Reviewed By charlottebouwer92Very spacious rooms, really clean and delicious breakfast. Even though we only stayed one night, we would have wished that we stayed an extra night as we felt very much like home. The hotel was difficult to access as they were doing road maintenance all throughout the city but someone from the hotel helped us to get there. The staff is 24/7 available for you and are very helpful. Since Lumbini is the birth place of Buddha there is enough to see in Lumbini to spend a full day there.

Very Peaceful and comfortable guesthouse with very helpful staff
Reviewed By Natalie473After staying somewhere else in lumbini and not having a good experience I arrived at this guesthouse tired and weary. The manager was kind and helpful and showed us straight to our room which was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The staff are more than happy to help with any requests you have and even managed to get a load of washing done and folded and back in my room in a few hours. This guesthouse is peaceful and has a monastery in the grounds which you can also look around. I would definitely recommend ?

Chambres sales avec une odeur de moisissures, matelas inconfortables salle de bains déplorables SANS serviettes de bain ni papier toilette , insectes par centaines, personnel désagréable, restaurant sale et non hygiénique ... Bref. A FUIR EN TOUS POINTS.

Reviewed By Max DDe kamers waren niet klaargemaakt. De hotelbaas was niet vriendelijk naar ons. De bedden waren vies. Ook doet de airco het bijna niet en kom je na een dag buiten te hebben gelopen in een warme kamer… We wilden een avond eten bij het hotel. Het zou 30 minuten duren, na 15 minuten komt de hotelbaas naar ons toe en zegt dat het niet mogelijk is om de hele bestelling te maken en we moeten naar een ander restaurant…Dit zag er echter vies uit. We hebben besloten ergens anders te eten. Kortom, geen aanrader.
