Mabuda or “Place of Dreams” is a romantic farm in the Lebombo Mountains, offering fantastic “birding” amid spectacular views. Warm thatched rondavels and chalets accommodates up to 25 visitors with a choice of B&B or self catering.Guests can go horse riding, swimming or even milk a cow !Families are especially welcome!
Magical. Maduba has something very special about it. The views of the surrounding mountains, the beautiful tall trees and stunning flora, beautiful rooms and a lovely pool to dip into on those hot days! Mavis and Helen were very helpful. We stayed there when they were fully booked yet we had our own space and the whole environment was very relaxing. Be sure to check out the cool coffee shack where you can get a great cup of coffee! They grow and roast their own coffee there!! Would highly recommend.

The most incredible camp!! The community is some of the kindest people you will ever meet, the food is absolutely incredible, and the view overlooking Swaziland the whole way to Mozambique is hard to put into words! We had the most wonderful time there and hope we can visit again someday soon!!

I just want to vent my unhappiness on the treatment I got from your reception evening staff by the name of Nothando and Nozipho Nkomonye. I needed food at the restaurant they told me they don't know the prices they won't be able to assist me, I then asked them to go and enquire for me, Nozipho went and after calling for the 4th time Nothando told me (while laughing at me) that Nozipho is not yet back eventually she came back and told me that she still do not have the prices she wasn't there but elsewhere,i could hear Nothando sharing with someone else on the background "how useless other customers are, just by not knowing the prices as if they are computers that they store prices". If I had another option I wouldn't have continued with my order when they eventually called me after I've asked their names. In short, you will lose clients with the unprofessional behavior they are giving to us as clients.

9 of us visited Lebombo Lodge for one night on our way through. It was boiling hot so our biggest disappointment must have been the state of the pool. You couldn't see the bottom and we just didn't feel comfortable using it. The second was the inadequate air conditioning in 2 of the rooms and then the reception when arriving. We felt like intruders when walking in and there was no greeting or response to our greetings. Other than that things were clean and breakfast was acceptable. We also felt safe and the parking was secure and ample.

So welcoming and genuinely african jungle that makes you want to come back quickly. The iconic elephants, lions and rhinos, among others, are part of the resident wildlife. The close, very close, encounter with rhinos on a foot safari, "led" by an excellent guide, causes a unique and unforgettable sensation. Thanks to all the staff for their hospitality, friendliness and professionalism.

Booked as an overnighter on the way back from Mozambique, paid in full for bed and breakfast prior to our arrival, and emailed the manager in advance to book for dinner, which he confirmed. When we arrived (about 19h00) the place was practically deserted. Absolutely nothing available from the restaurant. Ended up braaing our own wors we happened to have in the car. We had booked 2 rooms but the 3 of us ended up staying in 1 room as the single female was anxious about security after being harassed at the reception area. Neither the fan nor the aircon in the room worked, and the light went out after about 1 minute. The toilet didn't flush. I think the linen was clean but couldn't really tell seeing as though there was no light. Nothing really good to say about the place. Avoid.
