We didn't have the opportunity to stay at this B&B which looked excellent from what we saw. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We only visited for the honey, so glad we did! They sell their own honey on site, 5 varieties, which is top quality at a resonable price. This place is a must visit if you like honey! We will be back!!

This was an amazing experience and I will be back. The breakfast, room, service, and location were extremely pleasant. Lousa has such beautiful scenery and this hotel adds to this by keeping the charm with an updated twist! Thank you!

Located in the beautiful mountains of Serra da Lousã, 40 Km from the historical city of Coimbra, Cerdeira is the perfect charming shale village for your next holiday escape. It emerged from the love and care of two families who decided to rebuild the traditional houses, keeping the village's authenticity and uniqueness. The main concept combines sustainability and art by offering a wide range of creative experiences while keeping its focus on sustainable tourism. Cerdeira provides accommodation for families, small groups and couples. We also welcome artists and creative individuals to experience our "creative tourism" concept. All the self-catering homes are independent and beautifully decorated with artworks from local and international artists. The kitchens are fully equipped and there is a private bathroom with shower on every house. Electric heating and a traditional wood-burning stove help guests stay warm and cosy during the winter. You can also book a course in the Cerdeira Arts and Crafts School with one of our national or international artist-teacher. The school's calendar is available online.
I don‘t attempt to put in words the inner peace and gratitude this place created in me. It is a beautiful space! I left a little more whole than I arrived. Overlooking the green Lousã-Jungle, the wooden Terrasse was my resourcing and creative spot - perfect for yoga, a morning coffee, inspiration, or the copo do Vinho along with a lovingly made dinner ✨? I will definitely come back with my mum to enable her the magical experience as well! The place is only one side, the people are what gives Cerdiera Home for Creativity it‘s peaceful family character. Very passionate and kind souls?? I felt so warmly taken care of, whenever I needed something! I spent my day hiking the incredible green paradise (yes, paradise!) and shist villages (of which I think Cerdeira is for sure the most beautiful one) and unluckily got lost at dawn, Ricardo saved me that night picking me up and bringing me home?? Muito Obrigada Cerdeira Village! Love, Emily

This is a two bedroom house located in a rustic mountain village. The house is old but the interior is new and modern. Each bedroom has its own bathroom but the balance of the building is shared. You visit the area for the mountain sights, the trail walks and the tranquility and this house is the perfect place to enjoy that at the end of the day.

I have stayed at this pousada infrequently since it first opened some 11 years ago. The staff have always been excellent, very friendly and helpful, and the pousada is always spotlessly clean. I especially appreciate being able to use the kitchen as being a vegan in rural Portugal can be difficult. I have mostly stayed here when it is not too busy, so it has been quiet, and in the summer one is able to use the municipal pool next door, in the park, for free. The position of the pousada is excellent, with shops and cafes very close by. The pousada is excellent value for money and I have appreciated the times I have stayed here very much. Many thanks to the staff.

Arrived late with the whole family, a group of 7. There was a problem with the reservation which was resolved immediately by the very kind owners. Had an excellent local food meal. The place is magical, the landscape is breathtaking and you feel far from everything, just what you need! Highly recommend... ?
