I check in they gave me the wrong room the lady at the desk charged me four times and said it didn't go through and yes it did it took my money right out from the bank. Then cops were called out cause the couple was fighting. Nothing but crack heads and homeless people walking around slamming doors yelling all hours of the night it was so horrible I'll never go back there again people sitting on the stairs smoking weed it smelled horrible

Doing chemotherapy so have been staying at motel 6 for some time now. we have 2 dogs and they stay free here, so it's usually our first choice. First time stayng here, May 25th and 26th, room 101. In the middle of the night my wife found something on the pillow, thought it was a piece of lint, till it squished in her fingertips. the next afternoon I told her scratch my back it really itched. that's when she noticed bites going down my back and torso. Three bites and then another three bites, then a few more. Neither of us have ever encountered bed bugs, so we didn't realize what had occurred right away. Called Corporate. to advise of issue encountered, then contacted owner, who was in full denial. He told me inspector had already came and report sent to corporate. In regards to a refund, he advised I would have to get a lawyer. You live and learn, and now I've learned no matter how clean it appears, always be sure to check your mattress before you fully unpack, and if you do find any evidence of neglectful cleanliness, make sure to document and save all you find, you may have to use it in court.

In the spare of the moment, we decided to drive to Long Beach to tour the Queen Mary, however, the ship hotel was fully booked and the prices of close by hotels were way above our budget. So... on Priceline we booked the cheapest motel we could. Here are 5 good things about the Bartlett. 1. Price - Cheapest motel ($20 dollars cheaper per night than Motel 6) within a decent driving distance. 2. Location - less than a 30-minute drive on Pacific Coast Hwy to the Queen Mary and the Aquarium of the Pacific. AND the area where the motel is decent, AND walking distance (2 blocks or less) to at least10 good restaurants (Asian, Steak, Mexican, noodle houses, Gourmet Pizza) and Rolling Hills Mall with an AMC 20. 3. The Barlett is a small single-story building so there is no one above you, the rooms are away from the road so there is little road noise and the walls don't seem to be paper thin. We had quiet two night stay. 4. You can park your car right in front of your room. 5. The Barlett has been renovated and the bathroom was pleasantly nice. The vanity had a medium/large counter area and the shower was big and had great water pressure. Had to wait a bit for the very hot water. Also, the towels were almost soft and very clean. 6. The bed it's self was comfortable enough for a good nights sleep, even if it looked like a bed you may have personally thrown it out a year ago if it were your bed. 7. Our room (can't speak to the others) had been renovated at some point and actually seemed cleaner and less seedy than other 1- star motels. The floor was a nice tile, so no nasty carpet. P.S. There were a frig and microwave in the room, but no coffee pot. OK, here are the 5 reasons you might pass this one up. 1. There is no closet, no dresser, no suitcase rack, no hooks in the room or bathroom, no place to hang your clothes or even one item. 2. The mattress cover and the sheets, while clean, were for a full- size bed on our queen size bed. We woke up directly on the mattress (ugh) because the sheets didn't stay in place. 3. The TV is mounted on the wall, head high, right in the only walking path to the bathroom. You're constantly dodging a head injury. In my case, not so successfully. 4. There is no phone in the room to call the front desk/office. So if you need something or have questions you have to walk down. 5. Like the other motels we have stayed at that are owned/operated by (hard working) people from a 3rd world country, they do not understand the American standard. Case in point - when we got to our room the toilet paper roll was almost empty, so I looked around for the new roll - none. I had to walk down to ask for T.P. I understand that they operate on a very tight budget, but come on, one full roll of toilet paper won't break the budget. Second case in point. When I walked to the office for my roll of toilet paper I asked if there was maid service and the man said there was so I requested it. When we got back the maid had not made our bed (I guess trying to stretch the mattress cover and sheets across the bed proved too much for her/him) but she/he did leave clean new towels and an unflushed BM in the toilet. Would I recommend staying here, well yes, if you're a hearty soul, the accomadations were not too bad. If the service would get up to American standards they would do much better.

円高でLAX 辺りのホテルが高いので1号線を南下してこのホテルを利用しました。 79ドルでした。 普通に清潔で不快な思いはしていません。 スタッフはマナーよくチェックインさせてくれました。
