L'hotel du Lac est situe au bord du lac de Leon. A 300 m de l'embarcadaire pour la promenade en barque sur le Courant d'Huchet. Hotel 2 etoiles labellise "Accueil Velodyssee". Chambres tout confort avec vue panoramique sur le lac. Petit dejeuner, salon de the l'apres midi.
Beautiful Location, ideal for long journey break
Reviewed By Claire DWe chose this Hotel as it was a convenient break point on our journey from Southern Spain to the UK. Directions were easy to follow and the Hotel was far better than we expected! It is literally next to the lake. There is a wide gravel path round the lake and suggested routes of varying distances. There was plenty of parking and the welcome at reception was in English which was appreciated. We had asked for an end of corridor room as we were travelling with our dogs, the receptionist explained that they couldn't give us that room, but she had ensured there were no other dogs in that wing of the hotel. The room was spacious and had a balcony with a view of the lake. The restaurant had a good choice of meals, both a la carte and set price menu and the staff spoke several languages and were willing to explain details or make suggestions. There is a separate bar and numerous small seating alcoves around the large reception area so that you are able to feel part of the hotel but private at the same time. There are spa facilities at the hotel but we did not use them.

Poor accommodation
Reviewed By G JThe chalet was dirty and smelly when we arrrived and the rooms are very badly maintained. The curtains and bedcovers haven't been washed for ages and the chalets are very poorly equipped. If I was just reviewing the chalet I would only rate it as terrible but the main site is tidy and the swimming pool seems good.

Reviewed By GojirozTrès bon restaurant fait lors de nos vacances dans la région. Le bâtiment est très joli. Carte assez courte, avec plats et menu du jour. Les moules à la plancha étaient exquises, et le magret au fois gras délicieux. Nous avons ensuite pris des desserts locaux, à savoir pastis et tourtière, nous n’avons pas été déçu. Le service a été efficace et aimable hormis l’accueil de la serveuse qui fut un peu froid. Le serveur a très bien rattraper ce point. Terrasse ensoleillée et agréable malgré un peu qu’elle soit un bruyante à cause du trafic routier. Je recommande.

Le village vacances se situe sur le vaste domaine en pleine nature des Villages-sous-les-Pins, à 6 km de l'océan, entouré de forêts et d'étangs typiques des Landes. Voiture obligatoire, vélo conseillé. Il propose des hébergements rénovés et un vaste panel d'activités pour petits et grands.
