+ Clean, modern, spacoius and nice rooms with free wifi. Friendly staff in the reception, but they could speak some slovenian words, because hotel is only some km from Slovenia. New part of spa is great, also outdoor pools are ok, free bikes, indoor&outdoor children playground, breakfast ok,... - Pretty late check in at 15.00, dinner is not for 4* hotel (food&staff is a big problem). Also only one receptionist speak English ok,but other....

Denis Hotel and Restaurant in Lenti with its accommodation (17 rooms) and its excellent kitchen is found in vicinity of the thermal spa. We offer to our guests' delicious menu, comfortable hotel rooms, a separate conference room for events, programs, and an available price! Cycling friendly hotel, and animal friendly hotel in the near of Slovenian, Croatian and Austrian border and the airport.
I stayed here for 2 nights in a single room after completing the Hungarian Walk of Friendship and before starting the European Peace Walk. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location near the thermal baths.

With my wife we have spent three nights in the Castrum between the 10th and 13th of November. The first impressions were good, the check-in was fast and our room was clean. Room is equipped with a hair dryer which is cool. A decent sized balcony is also part of the deal. Breakfast was OK, nothing fancy, a healthy buffet variety to choose from. Our only concern regarding the amenities would be the TV, it didn't function properly and although we informed the staff that it has audio issues they wouldn't help, just told us that we need to check the cables. We - the guests - need to check them, right? Sure, we did and it was not the cables... So the issue remained unresolved. On the other hand one would expect flat screen televisions in 2018 rather than these prehistoric findings. An overall fine experience was however completely ruined upon checking out, when settling the bill. The three overnights summed at HUF 45300 and on top of that is a tiny fee of HUF 2100 called something like "tourism tax" or similar. The receptionist Vivien Szomi demanded it to be paid in cash however we did n.a. not carry cash and wished to pay the whole thing using our credit card, as we always do, everywhere... This summer during our previous visit to Hungary we have spent a weekend in Berekfürfő and then another weekend in Abádszalók, how strange, we were never asked for cash... But she insisted this tax must be paid in cash no matter what, and she added we were informed about this when confirming the reservation. She even made the effort looking up the e-mail only to prove me wrong, wasting our time, instead of taking the payment... Since a credit card is a legally approved means of payment and is accepted at this hotel too, we didn't quite get what is the panic for: we settle the bill with card and they can later sort it out. Simple as that, isn't it? Well, no. Not here. They go great lengths to argue and point fingers at you rather than listen and find a solution. Demanding the guest to pay part in cash and the other part with a card is a joke and something we never encountered before and found it very low and irritating. During the process we were sent up to our room (!) to bring down the bracelets that grant access to the spa (what if we bring them down when returning the keys?) and also to check if we have cash. Quite rude, to be honest, never experienced anything similar, ever. But this was just the beginning. Coming back down with those plastic bracelets, we once again confirmed the lack of cash. At this point a man - most probably the manager - joined the conversation, arrogantly blaming us for not having cash to settle the tourism tax. He said he cannot do anything! Really? So what? Is it something we guests need to worry about? Seriously man... We never heard anyone ever speaking like this to a paying guest. They went hysterical, fuming, and instructed us to make our way into town and take cash from an ATM so that we can settle the fee in cash besides the accommodation that could be paid by card! We repeated we are only able to pay using our card as we carry no cash and besides, our train leaves in about 25 minutes so searching for an ATM is out of question (and we are obviously not out of our minds to even take such a nonsense into consideration). We also added that this is one terrible customer service, literally directing the guest to look for an ATM, and all this because of a ridiculous HUF 2100. What if we settle the bill with card and you sort out the rest? Hint, hint... Shouldn't be that complicated... Both the manager and the above named receptionist were impolite, rude and arrogant. Realizing we won't be able to suddenly "procreate" cash by means of magic, they eventually surrendered and allowed us to pay everything using the card... So what was this lame hysteria for, when at the end of the day, we could pay using the card? Why they did not allow us to do so immediately, saving valuable time and winning a returning guest? Such a silly, shortsighted policy... Meanwhile we were entering the pin, the manager went even further, insulting us "what if the terminal doesn't work, how do we pay then"? He basically "told us off" for not having cash... When leaving, we wanted to hand over the room key and bid farewell, they both turned away, did not even say goodbye to us! Wow! So pathetic... What an unfriendly, unwelcoming, unprofessional staff, and the shocking revelation is that one of them was the manager of the hotel... They successfully descended to such a bottomless depth of arrogance we never thought can exist. Absolutely substandard service, humiliating the guest in many ways. Living abroad for over 10 years now we are not used to this kind of rubbish customer service and it looks like our first stay at this hotel is the last too. These people need to learn the very fundamentals of dealing with guests, because this outright rudeness and lack of respect isn't something one would ever return for. Very bad way of doing business. Avoid at all cost. There are numerous other options, all within walking distance...

A közeli termálfürdőt érdemes kipróbálni, igazán jó élményekkel gazdagodtunk ott is! A horgásztavat bátran ajánlom családoknak, barátoknak is!

Very poor and old, no airconditions, room fridge is louder than nearby train. Don't go there during summer. Soup was cold, fries as well. WiFi is slow, reachable only in lobby. Even for low price hotel standard is too low.
